    Have a great day!

  • Hi all,

Well as my title says, am in the middle of day 2. Just had a soup and am off to have the last 1/2 hour of my lunch break in the pub. Will have a water or black coffee in the pub. I already feel lighter and less bloated. I am going to see my CD counsellor tonight and have requested that I buy all the sachets I need to carry me through to the end of the 3 weeks. I think doing it this way should keep me motivated. I just keep telling myself - only have to do CD for 3 weeks, then be slim forever!! Yay!!

To the lady who asked about exercise DVDs, I have a lateral thigh trainer and the dvd which goes with it. The DVD only lasts about 30 minutes and although you sweat a bit, it is do-able. My main body issue are my thighs so it helps for me. I am not doing it this week cos want to get used to the CD then will do it next week and the week after.

Can I just ask everyone, when you hit ketosis stage and had got over, say, the first 5 days, did it get a lot easier to stick to? I am ok at the mo because I really need a rigid plan to stay on track but am hoping it gets easier in the next week or 2 so that I don't think about food as much.

Ta ladies. Have a good day all. (toasting glasses of water)

  • It gets easier once you have entered ketosis.

How do you think I have stuck it for 27 weeks if it didn't?????

Once ketosis has kicked in there is no hunger whatsoever. You get cravings, like I did yesterday, but they are your mind playing tricks on you not physical hunger.

Cute have you SS the whole time?
Only lost a pound this week and been really good. Why do you think that it makes me want to give up when i have lost a lot quickly? Isn't it odd? Just because i have only lost one pound this time.
  • I did 8 weeks of SS, then switched to 790 and have done that for 19 weeks.

Started Week 28 today, week 20 of 790

    Hi everyone

Thanks for the comments. It really helps to come here and have a moan when you've had a bad day. My counsellor is absolutely fantastic it's just a shame I can't go and see her every day!! But here is definitely the next best thing.

Well I'm back to it today, glugging water like it's vodka (I Wish!) and I've got to say it's been incredibly hard, not helped by the fact that one of the patients at work (I work in a hospital) bought me a box of quality street, and then one of the doctors bought me a bag of hula-hoops and full fat(!) tango at lunch time!!

I've bough them home for OH to eat so at least he's happy.

I hate when I ruin things midweek, it almost feels as though I'm being good for the rest of the week for nothing afterwards

(goes away to drink more water and feel sorry for self................)

Come on Claire. You can do this. You ARE doing this and well done.
  • Hi, Been reading these threads for the last 10 pages or so. Have just rung my local councellor for the second time (we keep missing each other) - but I am now ready to sign up! Looking at all of your comments will be great for me as I have reached the point where I can no longer discipline myself to eat just 2 of thiese or a piece of that - and have to eat 'just that little bit' extra. I know that all of the little extras have made me become the size I am, and am determined to do this no matter what.
I am hoping this thread will be my lifeline and spur me on!
