My youngest son made me smile today...
He was handed a form to fill in at school and one of the questions was "what sort of friends do you have?
He answered "Geeks and nerds".
Mind you, he refused to answer the question on what he does outside of school, telling them to mind their own business as they tell them not to bring their homelife into school!
Ah, the autistic brain.....
my little girl had a similar form and on a question asking what she dislikes about school she answered "coming" :rotfl:0 -
Several years ago, my goth friends' little son of 7 was asked at school "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and he replied "Marilyn Manson".
Still makes me chuckle!
HBS x"I believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
"It's easy to know what you're against, quite another to know what you're for."

Reminds me of when my daughter had done a school project on Sir Francis Drake and they had to fill in a form about it, completing the sentences. One of them said:
"If I had to do this project again I would........................."
She'd written "not".:D0 -
My four year old DD said to me this morning "Mummy you are so very very old you really should be in heaven by now". I'm 39!0

The granddaughter from my post#30 had to go back to the opticians yesterday to have drops put in to 'relax' her eyes for the optician to determine how bad her squint was. first eye she was ok but had to be bribed to allow the second - and while waiting for them to work - promptly fell asleep! The optician was hysterical laughing, claimed it was the first time anyone had fallen asleep on him! Then went round telling all the staff and saying 'She is SOOOOO adorable!'
She can't wait to get her 'Hello Kitty' spectacles - but son wonders just how long they will remain intact.0 -
