  • Taking my baby girl to get her first pair of shoes, After measuring her feet we tried some lovely shoes on her. She stood in the same spot for a while like she was glued there, then lifted one foot after the other as though her shoes weighed a stone each was so cute watching her walk in shoes for the first time.
  • A morning out in the sun to Dungeness with OH and boxer puppy. We all loved it.

DH taking me for Sunday lunch at a local pub. Not a big deal but I had hip surgery 10 days ago and am stuck on crutches. He may have had the motive of not wanting to cook but getting out the house meant so much to me:)

What a great thread - reading these has cheered me up loads. I think mine (it's a bit mean lol) was when DH came into the room after his shower wearing a towel that had an ENORMOUS spider on it - I pointed it out to him and he screamed and threw the towel at me! He came back into the room a few seconds later, completely starkers and very embarrased

There is not much to smile about in my life at the moment BUT I am trying to look on the bright side and this thread has certainly helped!

Today I smiled when my eleven year old son simply couldn't cope with the choice in the newsagent - sweets, cake, crisps or ice cream?

We were stood there for more than 15 minutes while he agonised over the choice!

Saw a toad in my garden this morning, made me smile as I thought he might eat a few slugs for me.
