    It always amuses me too.. :D .. noone ever believes me!

    they are not wonderful.. they are beastly!

    I was hoping to get one of Fabian and Samuel tomorrow but DD1 is unwell so probably not coming :(

    OH has cleaned the drains and gulleys out back with DS1's foot up his bum ;) he has made a dozen drinks and hung out 4 loads of washing (48Kg of wet laundry is not fun!) He got the 2 small pinks ready for bed and filled the garden waste bin and cleaned the outsides of the windows cos I can't reach. .. See when he helps he does actually help.

    Morning all.

    Piggers, you should have a willing workforce there to do the flying for you.

    Anyway, after a night spent dreaming about getting the right school uniforms, thanks to this thread, I am now up and about. Note that my children are now adults and there are no grandkids either.

    As you ladies have been so supportive over the last few weeks, I thought I'd share the less obvious positives of DH no longer drinking alcohol:

    He can recall conversations we have in the evening
    No longer falls asleep in the chair
    Doesn't snore any more (this is the best one)

    Today, I am on my own, so going to have a long soak in the bath first. I need to walk the doggies as usual and will do some more pottering about in the garden.
