Back gardens all cut, boys it's warm out there. Gonna have a break for 5 and then get lunch on. Washing is going down nicely now, i think i'll stick curtains in next. :D

Kids and myself can all get bathed after lunch and i'll get the bedding washed too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Afternoon all

Actually did some flying last night and this morning including putting replacement covers on the kitchen sofa which we got 14 years ago for free when we complained. We were waiting for the kids to get bigger before using them, it is the cats who wreck them tbh :rotfl:

In the mood to wash everything with the promise of sunshine so this week:

    Wash green sofa covers
Wash kings and extra king size winter duvets (laundrette job)
    Wash everybody's ski jackets
    Wash old dining room curtains

Going to clean the shower room next, with a cuppa and then get DS2 to help me tidy the side shed which has so much wood stored for next winter we are struggling to get the bikes in.

Hi everyone. I've been MIA again this week because I've been really busy with work and study. I have managed to keep the place tidy and do my usual dailies. Today I have:

    Emptied dishrack
    Washed dishes
WM x 3 and hung out
Dusted dining room and living room
    Hoovered through all downstairs
    Menu plan
    Food shop

Plan for the rest of the day is to fold / put away the dry laundry
    Make dinner and wash up
    Budget check

Vanilla - been reading about what has happened to you this week - stay strong

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm studying all weekend :(

It's a bit late to say 'I'm in' for this week isn't it? :o

Last weekend disappeared in a haze of Bruce Springsteen and then Olympic torches :D meaning that this week has been spent on trying to get everything sorted before the end of term (still a WiP :o) !!

vanilla - huge hugs hun; here's to the future for you and the littlies xx

jojo - sounds like you did the sensible thing; hugs xx

I've washing drying out in the sunshine and kitchen bin and worksurfaces have been cleaned. Shopping done and put away and cheque paid into bank. Next plan is to finish cross stitch card for colleague who is retiring on Monday.

Wow, what's that big yellow blob in the sky?:D

    Bedlinen stripped, washed and dried.:T

Vanilla more strength vibes coming your way. If it was me, I'd be preparing for the two-year haul, and if it goes through quickly, be very, very pleased, iyswim. Fwiw, one of the items I said when I divorced KH was "an inappropriate relationship with another woman" (I think that was the exact terminology the solicitor advised).

Mr LW is sitting on his bum watching a tape of Sinbad - but it's OK, he wants The Borgias taped tonight, and I've run out of blank tapes, so he needs to clear some backlog so that I can re-use one.:D
