CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN LEVEL'S TO ME - I see you all writing them but Ive no idea what they are or for or why??

hiya - I'm not much of a fly lady, but have to bottom the house today so thought it might keep me on track =

For me the levels mean =

Level 1 is generally stuff that we should try to do each day - so wiping the kitchen side and bits like that

Level 2 is things we could do of we have an extra 20 minutes on tops of level 1 - so wipe the sides, then maybe wash out the kitchen bin...

Level 3 is for the days that we either need to do level 1, level 2, and then the things listed in level 3, or we have the time and inclination.

So today i'm scrubbing the WHOLE house from top to bottom (supposedly).

Tomorrow I will only need to do level 1 as I will still be being good from the clean up today. Sunday again probably level 1.

But Monday after work I may need to clean things a little deeper as I 'discover' I have the odd pile of laundry here and there.... so i might dip my toe in the level 2 list, and then by Thursday as my dirty scrubber tendencies start to show I will have to delve into the level three of things to ensure that I don't get swamped with dirt and junk...

No shiny new cooker needed here. A nice man has fixed it for £79.

I have just spent an hour cleaning it. I'm also washing a mountain of towels today.

Morning all, i'm not long up, think i needed the sleep. :o Rhys still isn't up.

Letters wrote out so i'll post them today. Need to go and get dressed and pack my back up.

Flying wise dw and wm are on and PIL left down my bin.

Sammy looks fab, very well done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Day 1 of mine all being home...

D3 hit D4 in the face
D4 upended the ballpit in a strop and is now sitting on the sofa until she can be pleasant.
S3 had a hissy because he IS getting dressed today
S1 runs me up a £257 phonebill then has the cheek to complain I won't pay it and he will then moans when they disconnect his phone.
    S2 is lazy.. end of..
D2 is in bed with a cat and her laptop
D3 now been yelled at for throwing toys about and trying to wake Dot.

I am fit to kill them..

    Hello all.

Bedroom and spare room duly dusted, so I'm pretty much done for the week, unless I decide to find a few "extras". But I now have Ted to entertain, so.......:rotfl:

Sammy Kaye hey, well done! Good job!:o

Hoping poor Babymoo is feeling better. I can cope with dogs upchucking (just) but not humans._pale_

Re teaching offspring to do household tasks - Mr LW tells me that he and his two sisters were all expected to muck in from as soon as they were old enough to do it - also, he was taught basic sewing and cooking, as well as the "boy" skills, and his sisters were taught "boy" things like changing plugs and so forth. I think it's paid off!:o
