Hi flyers
What a day yesterday was nothing went right. my sink in the kitchen got blocked up and OH had to remove the pipe work from the sink to the outside wall to fix it meaning that I had to empty 2 of my worstest cupboards (Sammy your cupboard started off clean in comparision!) This meant that I disinfected both cupboards and washed door fronts and kick boards. I now have to rehome all the stuff in them that shouldn't be there (I boxed it while OH was working) I have filled half a black bag with stuff I was holding on to for no reason . My DS1 is being a pain hes going out to work and then meeting up with his girlfriend straight after never came into the house till nearly midnight last night so I have read him the riot act, hes 15 not 25:mad: So I'm the worlds worst mum again;)
Sammy the levels work for me like this
Level zero i seriously CBA/BD or just generally being lazy
Level one daily stuff just to keep on to of things or when you are just starting out (little and often)
Level two I'm feeling a bit more energetic and my house really needs it
Level three I'm in my "I will get this house spotless mode"
Extras I just want to show off:rotfl:
Macpeep my iron takes as long as an ordinary iron to heat up about 2mins I wouldnt iron if I had that long to wait:rotfl:
Vanilla hugs honey
Dusty I have no bother with my DS1 he keeps his own room cleaned and gets his washing to the machine and stuff. Does his own trailor although I do give him a bit of a hand but see my DS2 cant get him to pick up anything! DD is an:A
Piggers your a saint I would have fling boogied him by now:rotfl:
Valli I think its nice that the kids give their teacher a present at the end of term. It lets the teacher know that the are very much appreciated, I wouldnt do your job even for my own printing bress in the bank! DD gave her teacher a wee plaque with best teacher on it and some chocies, her wee pal however took in a bottle of wine which I don't agree with, a wee 8yr old walking to school with a bottle of wine in her bag I don't like that felt that her mum should have handed it into the office.
I'm off to find my HUGE listI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

oooh nothing worse than a blocked sink it puts the scuppers on so much while you accommodate the fix.
your son may be grumpy now but you are doing it in his best interest. and he will grow out of the Wayne stage.
I still remember my sister shouting 'I hate you' at my Mum (they are now best friends), and when her daughter did it to her a few weeks ago I had to leave the room I was laughing so hard....

Hi all
Sicky washing all done, hung indoors as it has not stopped raining here since about 4am. Even had heating on a bit earlier as we (even babymoo with her supposed fever) were all cold. That said, DS has been refusing trousers as he has got spiderman pants on and doesn't want them covering up, lol. Littlest moo asleep in her buggy, making up for last night.
We've done some craft stuff this morning, and they've had a good dinner, so I might get some flying done this aft if they can entertain themselves. But their rooms are ok so not worried.
Am planning a [strike]h[/strike]hc in garage room when they are in bed. I have a bed base in there that needs to go. Council collections are full up so I will just have to break it up. Is already broken, so no good to anyone...Bossymoo

so far have stripped bed hoovered the mattress and the memory foam topper -hoping the white layer in the dyson drum is foam dust not dead skin cells:eek:

and am now tackling my cupboard, i stuff little pressies and bits in there throughout the year so as well as toiletries its full of 'stuff' a taking stuuff out inn an attempt to clear all the birthday pressies off the floor and into the cupboard - mostly smellies candles and jewllery so it should live in there.i now own 6 bottles of charlie, i used to wear it when i was about 19 but since fil died mil has decided to buy it me every birthday and christmas, as a thank you for helping with fil while he was ill and organising the funeral she bought me red blue and gold versions.
DH buys me things like tresor lovely and flowerbomb guess which i prefer wearing now im a grown up;)

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
right all I have decided to go and get on with the bathroom today and sort that out.
Also I work on a Sunday from 3 - 10pm so I think I will have a sunday as a level 1 day all over so I can chill before work
I will sit and write my list on a sunday night though once I am home from work - it takes me about 2 hours to wind down after a shift so that is plenty of time to plan my week.
Should be made all the more fun by the kids being off! :eek:Time to find me again0 -

BOSSYMOO - could you not put the bed base on freecycle - sure someone would come and take it off your hands for you. x
I have several things to put on freecycle and I have a guitar upstairs that I cant play, have had since I was 15 but it was a gift my dad brought me and despite it sitting untouched for about 10 years I hate the idea of getting rid of it but its pointless and could bring in a few needed pennies so I am considering putting it on gumtree. xTime to find me again0 -

people where i am are always after fire wood so worth a try????
I'm not a sentimental person - but had a few things that I didn't want to part with, and I personally feel that someone who loved me would prefer that I had money to pay the bills, and good memories, than something that needs dusting, that would be loved by someone and get used - think Phoebe and the Christmas trees fulfilling their Christmas dreams....
