    Debt-free and Proud!
Thanks for posting this, I am in for this week - my first full week as a flylady! Hopefully my house (and hubby) will be thanking me for it by next weekend :) Sorry to sound so gushy, but I am so grateful for the wonderful people on this thread and on the DFW board - you have all helped so much to keep my motivation up and stop me sliding back into depression. I've been pretty 'low' over the last couple of weeks and just knowing there are people to talk to and who are happy to share their knowledge has stopped me from falling back into my old routine of not caring about my house or my own appearance, and overspending because I feel so down. Thanks everyone and keep up the flying :j

Thanks Dusty for last weeks lists and JJ for this weeks :)
I've not been too good this last week a lot of BDs trying hard to tread water and keep my head above it at the mo so very little flying achieved CBA.

I've been checking in and catching up on all the news so even when I can't fly I kno you lot are still there!
PP I really don't know how you manage to keep visiting when it's such an awful experience. You deserve a medal. Please remember we are not all like that up here. And i missed your wave this week! Too grumpy to wave?Hope the littlies breathing is better. I'll be looking forward to Fabian home at last celebration photos tomorrow so please share.
CY how awful for your DS (and poor DH) oh the joys of teenage boys. It's really quite scary what could happen specially if his mates didn't hang around!
Bonnie hope you are feeling ok and your hot Ribena does the trick. You gave us a scare earlier. Your posts make me smile even on a bad day.
Well done "special 10""you are putting me to shame. It's great to have you all around:) night night.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep tonight without the nightmares and be up for the kitchen list in the morning.

Thanks for the listy JJ, I'm in again but with my own list. I'm starting a bit of a declutter mission here at Helens Home! I'm starting in the garage, been reading a book about getting rid of and staying rid of clutter so I'm starting in the garage so that I have space to store stuff from the house when I do each room - gives me space to deal with the carp!! I shall have several bags ready - recycle, freecycle, charity shop and Ebay and will deal with each bag at then end of each day - sounds good but practice may be different. DH starts his new job tomorrow so its fingers crossed that all goes well.

    Hi all,

I've had another night of not sleeping so decided to crack on with getting today's tasks done, so I can have a nap in the afternoon if I crash :rotfl:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room

    Level One

[STRIKE]Clear and wipe the work tops[/STRIKE] also took out the bin and recycling.
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe hob[/STRIKE] should really clean the oven at some point too, I'll see if I can get round to it today, but I'm pretty busy.
    [STRIKE]Hoover and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
brushed but not yet got around to mopping it, hopefully can do this later before going out.
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe cupboard fronts/ drawers/kickboards, etc[/STRIKE] all the outsides of the cupboards are looking good, but I really need to get around to organising the contents  That's going to be a job and a half!
Clean filters on TD/WM This needs doing, but it's such a big job as the filter on my washer / dryer is stupidly inaccessible
[STRIKE]Clear a hotspot[/STRIKE] Managed to sort out all my baking supplies so they all fit neatly into pretty cake tins in the corner of my kitchen - hopefully this will inspire me to do some baking soon as it's been waaay too long.
    Extras
HHI I have so much ironing to do... you would not even believe! I have a terrible habit of washing clothes, then putting them on the spare bed and only ironing them as / when they're needed  I really need to stop doing this so I can properly evaluate my / DH's wardrobes and assess what we can ebay / charity shop and what needs replacing. I also desperately need a new iron (mine's leaking - not sure how safe that is :rotfl:) and ironing board (mine's enormous, broken and rubbish!)... maybe I could offset these costs against revenue from selling clothes?

Today I'm also going to my support group, which will be interesting :o and would also like to get some exercise in. Was thinking of walking to where the group is (about 2 miles each way) but it means going through some pretty dodgy areas so not sure how wise this plan is... but I also hate / am anxious about public transport and can't afford a taxi so not really sure what my options are! Hopefully I'll get to update this later when / if I've done some more. Hope everyone else is sleeping well and wakes up refreshed and ready for a day of flying.

Thank you for the new thread JulieJim.

I'm happy but tired. We celebrated DS1's 18th with a family party and the rain stayed away!

DH has the day off today so he can tackle the list. I'm doing my 2nd full time week. I'm so tired I could sleep for a week.

I did the majority of the cleaning up last night and the house was respectable before the hoardes descended - now we have to stay on top of it!
