    Hi all,

    Thanks for the lists JulieJ.

I'm in. After the mad panic clean for the inspection last Monday my once spotless house is a lot less than sparkly now. :( How does it get messy and dirty again so quickly? It's really not fair.

I'm on a bit of a go slow because i'm not feeling very well. I had a stomach bug from early hrs Friday until late Saturday, was fine yesterday and now i've got a cold  i feel all sleepy and a bit out of it. Not good when i have to get my accounts, tax credits renewal and tax return done.

    So far today i have

    Afternoon all

I've done the kitchen/diner and also dusted the living room and hallway and vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs. Been out walking (in the rain, obviously) and sorted out the recycling ready for tomorrow.

Hello, it’s me. Think the last time I was around I said something along the lines of “life’s chaotic, I’ll update you at the weekend”. Looking at my Flylady Diary, that looks to be around three months ago! :o

Briefly, in the intervening time, a relative I was very fond of died, so there’s been funeral arrangements, paperwork, house to sort – all the usual stuff – and it’s still going on – and the house is not local and there is no-one local. Then the item in my life called “work” decided that we didn’t actually need two full time people in the department, just one – and that was me. As we weren’t sitting around painting our nails before, and the period of reorganisation was just over one day, to say that chaos and stress entered my working life is an understatement. And my house was only very slowly finding its way from the mess that I had created over the years, and that’s slid badly backwards. So life has felt on occasions as if it is some vicious circle of too much work, too much sorting out of relative’s house and paperwork, not to mention all the boxes I have had to bring home to sort, too much mess in the house, and the garden, and I am permanently feeling as if there is too much to do all round and not enough “me” to do it – and whichever task I am on I feel I should be giving more to that one, and then I move to the next area of my life and find that’s an even bigger neglected mess. Round and round and round in circles. :( There’s time when I just lie in bed wondering what I should do first, instead of actually getting out of bed and getting on with it.

I’m sure other people cope better than me with more on their plates!

On the positive side, I have now resurrected my Flylady diary, and written up my jobs for the week. And I did decide to clean my kitchen bin out at 1.30 am the other day (don’t ask!)

I’ve missed all you guys and the great encouragement you give, and I’ve no idea what any of you have been up to, or the problems or fun you’ve been having, so I’ll just have to start from here.

And, as I have actually remembered that the rules say I must talk about Flying during the week, I do have my daily list written up and I've added in today's suggestions - let's just see how far I can get this evening. Back later.

I can't not go otherwise his family would never see the girls.. he isn't taking them for the weekend without me can you imagine how awful his sister would be if I wasn't there to scare her?!!!??!!??

Nanamia... I was asleep as we passed you.. sorry *waves from the trampy end of the m62*

I am still miserable today.. Godness knows what is wrong with me.. :(

Cannot his family come and stay in a Travelodge near you? That way you get to stay at home and they get some time with the grandkids...and hopefully they could bog off at a time of your choosing?

I mean it's not as if there isn't anything to do over here? Plenty of attractions they could combine with a trip to see you.....

Mrs_B everyone copes differently with whats on their plates so dont you feel guilty or start comparing loads with anyone. YOUR problems are the ones YOU have to deal with. The stress of losing someone close affects everyone in different ways and it certainly soinds to me as if you have had a lot to cope with. so hugs from me and make sure you take full advantage of the HHme times that come up on the lists. you deserve them.

can someone send me finding vibes please. ive lost my glasses. i know i had them on when my dad and step mum came to the door i thought i took them off and put them on top of the mouse cage in the hall when i went to open the door ive even rung them, they cant remember seeing me in them and didnt notice any. all i can find is the open case on the table
