Hi all,
I want to leave T Mobile. My contract comes to an end on 11th August.
Can I leave now?
I want to ask for PAC code - do I use it as soon as they give it me or not til the 11th?
how much am I likely to be charged?
sorry for all the questions..I am pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff.
Thanks in advance
Beth

Request your PAC now and use it on the 9th or 10th Aug to avoid any extra charges aside from any out of allowance charges.
You shouldn't be charged anything extra, but T-Mobile seem to be doing it anyway as this thread shows.0 -

Your contract does not end you've jsut hit the minimum term.
You will be charged for 30 days use after the PAC is used, so you should have got it and used it on the 11th of July to avoid any futher payments.0 -
Since your fixed charges are billed a month in advance, you may already have paid for some of August, depending on your particular billing cycle. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I am also leaving. My contract ends 13th Aug. I rang today to get my PAC code and give them their 30 days notice.
Could someone please tell me how soon I have to use the PAC code to avoid another 30 charges?A smile costs nothing, but gives a lot.It enriches those who receive it without making poorer those who give it.A smile takes only a moment, but the memory of it can last forever.0 -
You need to pay for the 30 days notice - so you want to use it near the end of the 30 days to avoid paying for 2 contracts at once. dont leave it to the last minute though as it might take a day or two to port your number over.0

Not sure how you can avoid paying for 2 contracts for a month. Use it at the end of the 30 days and you still pay 30 days extra, it's 30 day extra from the date the PAC is used not issued..0 -
It's 30 days from the day the PAC is issued. If you use it early then you get charged for the rest of the 30 days. Not sure how you can avoid paying for 2 contracts for a month. All the providers have done the same in one form or another. Three upped everything by 3.6% in May, Vodafone did it last year, and I think o2 did at the same sort of time.
Inflation means prices will go up, Foods, petrol, gas, water and so on have gone up just the same, companies have to pay increased costs to give you a service and that means you have to pay more for the service. Often these hidden costs have gone up far more than the cost of the service. I hire industrial plant for some events, the hire has not gone up, but delivery has shot up due to fuel costs, net result is the overall hire costs more than it did last year.
No-one likes price rises but there is not a lot you can do. You can cetainly leave but as ll the providers have gone up about the same what do you gain?0
