I have just came back but took.
Diazepam, immodium. Plasters etc. Book. Pen.
Sick bags (collect them on the plane, nothing worse than more than one person having a gippy sicky tum, and only one bathroom!).Maureen0 -

all of the above! The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Hadn't taken Immodium on holiday before but decided to take some to India with us. Good call. I still can't believe how effective a tiny melt in the mouth tablet can be. :rotfl:
I always take some with me
plus painkillers and travel sickness tablets
You never know
:o:o The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -

For next time, generic version available everywhere in India and a lot cheaper than taking it with you.0 -
Bottle opener!
Micropore tape, roll of food bags (would probably also work as sick bags if you have a strong stomach - lol), as well a few odds+ends already mentioned.0 -
Second the string idea, except mine was bought as a travel clothes line and has rubber suckers on the end!
I always travel with a packet of HobNobs. Handy if anyone is feeling sickly, and useful to nibble on if we get delayed or anyone gets the munchies. Here I go again on my own....0 -
A roll of black bin liners.
They don't take up much space, but are great when travelling with toddlers. We use them :
- as blackout blinds.
- as a mattress protector
- to throw in wet clothes
- to throw in dirty clothes when you cannot properly deal with the sick mess at 3am, you just put it in the bathroom
- as a bin etc.
a lot of use out of them, they are cheap too.0
