DS is 10 months old and he has excema too and we were advised by our gp to only bath him once or twice a week, we cream him up with his various creams after each bum change and bath, but he is going through a really bad spell at the moment so i`m going to try bathing him every night for the next one or two weeks to see if it improves, if not back to the gp.My 2 year old has a bath every night as she has severe eczma and the dermatology nurse said it has to be every day - we had previously been advised by our GP to bath her as little as once or twice a week!.
DD is 3 and has a bath everyday but she HATES having her hair washed so i only wash her hair twice a week.0 -
I'd love to think that a day will come when my LO isn't dirty enough to not need an evening bath. Sometimes I think I can get away with not washing her hair and then she'll go and put her yoghurty hands in it at teatime and that's blown that.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Every sunday night, and 1 or 2 in the week depending how grubby they are. Probably more frequently when its hot and they're sweaty and muddy from the garden, less in the cold weather (they're 2 and 4 yrs). The youngest might get additionally hosed down due to potty training accidents!!0

Mine were every night as babies, just part of the routine. Now it's 2-3 times a week min but more if particularly filthy. If its been bright and they've had lots on sunscreen on I bathe them, I know how it feels to be coated in that stuff and it's nice to get it washed off. Lastly if I've stripped and remade the beds. I have this weird thing about not getting into a clean bed unless we are all clean, and wearing clean pj's lol
DD seems to be out of the wiping every meal in her hair stage, thankfully. She has very cute blond curls but it's a bu88er to keep nice with jam in it...Bossymoo
