Mine were bathed every night; they enjoyed it. But when DS hit the teens he was made to bath/shower every night or morning:rotfl:
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

LO (2) gets showered with one of us 2 or 3 times a week plus after swimming and then has a bath once a week-10 days. Unless he gets really filthy in which case it's more often!!

Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

DS (8 months) is bathed every day, 99% of the time it's with me or his dad.

I very rarely run a bath for him on his own - that usually happens if he goes to my mother's house. She is obsessed with bathing him!

DD (6) about 2 or 3 times a week - we don't have a shower so always a bath, although saying that, she usually hijacks mine. I'll be lying back with my eyes closed and feel the water rising and there is her smirking and going "Ahhhhhh" as she gets in the warm water - I usually vacate soon after as she starts squirting me with ducks and other bath paraphenalia.

Every second day or so because they have eczema and I don't want to aggravate their skin. Of course... if they've been making mud pies or littlest has had an accident then that goes out the window and 3 times a day might be more accurate! ;)

My eldest (9) has a bath once a week, and a shower every other day or so. My youngest (6) has severe eczema, which baths and showers really don't help, so he often goes 10 days without one, especially when his skin is really bad. Having said that, at the moment his hayfever is affecting him a lot, so he's being thrown in a quick shower every day before bed, which really isn't helping his skin at all.

DD (4) is every 2 days wth me in the shower (as her hair is so long its a blumin pain to wash if shes in the bath on her own). DS 'should' be every 2 days but with clubs and his 'forgetting' he will wangle 4 days in between washes if I let him

Sympathising with all the eczema sufferers, DS had it as a youngster and it was horrible to wash him :( Thankfully he grew out of his though, he now avoids water by choice instead :rotfl:

My 2 year old has a bath every night as she has severe eczma and the dermatology nurse said it has to be every day - we had previously been advised by our GP to bath her as little as once or twice a week! She has special oil and needs to soak for at least 10 minutes. It makes a massive difference and I notice if we are camping and can't bath her as often or can only shower.
DS is nearly 6 and he usually has a bath or shower every other night, unless he is dirty from playing obviously!!
I can't wait until DD doesn't need to be bathed every day as unfortunately it has become more of a chore as it HAS to be done.
