You posted some pretty curt and downright unappreciative replies to the thread last night, even when people were trying to help.
In my opinion you got what you deserved, maybe next time you'll phrase things a little better and you won't get 'hurtful' replies.0 -
I never said "I don't want opinions". Also if you reas the policies if enough people press the spam button a whole thread will be deleted. I am in the process of trying to get the thread reinstated. Hopefully then people will see that I did nothing what so ever wrong and I was not the one hurling abuse.0

Also wealdrom suggested I get a cheque when I had clearly stated my friend did not have a bank account. That is why I suggested he read my post again. Also, when he talked about interest that is why I said about spouting opinions. Interest had nothing to do with anything.0

Walk away, leave it alone. You were wrong last night and are wrong this morning. Reinstating the thread will not happen. MSE will thankfully not embarrass you by doing so.0 -
Dear Scooter lady, I did not read your original post. I am so, so, pleased, that your friend got a full refund! Well done.0

How does your friend get benefits paid was also a question asked?0 -
And how has that got anything to do with Argos. It is also an assumption on your part that my friend is claiming benifits. Its actually a disrespectful assumption at that.0

Maybe not in those words... who knows?Scooter_lady wrote: »I never said "I don't want opinions".
But that's how I remember it.
But you have now told us in three posts on this thread...Scooter_lady wrote: »Admittedly I asked someone to read what I had written and not spout opinions as they are not helpful...Scooter_lady wrote: »I asked if some one could not spout opinions as they are of no use what so ever.
What are we to believe?Scooter_lady wrote: »what I would say though is in cases like this people's opinions really do not count. especially when those opinions are wrong.0 -

You were asked last night and didn't answer. You claimed your friend hasn't a bank account and that was queried with regards to the question of benefit payment. You did not answer then or now. I do wonder why?0 -
Scooter_lady wrote: »FWIW I just thought I would let all those who beat up on me last night and got my thread deleted by pressing the spam button, that I phoned Argos this morning and the manager agreed to give my friend a full cash refund after visiting the store with some ID.
So there you have it. Thanks for making a new member feel totally unwelcome. Now that this has been resolved on my part I will not be visiting again.
Spam, spam, spam, spam.
No, he's not the Messiah. He's a naughty boy.
You'll be back, you love it.
