Because Argos wanted to refund by cheque?0 -

I didn't answer because it is no ones business and goes to show my point exactly. People making assumptions, and not believing what I say. he hasn't got a bank account. He didn't want a cheque. I wanted to try and make sure he had decent living standards by the weekend. You guys thought that set tiling for a cheque was okay and when I said it was not because of xyz reasons I get asked if he is on benifits and why am I not lending him stuff. I guess we could go on and on but I am standing up for my friend against Argos and for myself against some of you. Like I said last night it is quite clear Mse has issues with old members being disrespectful to new members. You only need to read reviews on this place to find that out. I will be making my points further to admin who will be able to see exactly what was written last night. I am happy that I managed to find out and get my friends refund and yes I am getting better at standing up for myself because their was one point in my life I would of believed that I was inferior. Please remember that everyone online has feelings. Not one person has appoligised to me for calling me a troll and other hurtful comments but then a lot of you believe I was wrong even after I appoligised.0 -
So your friend does have a bank account? Progress at last?0

Omg, for the billionth time no he doesn't and even if he did, he didn't want a cheque. I asked for help to get a cash refund and some of you deemed this as unacceptable. You now are prooving
That by clinging onto weather he has or has not got a bank account. Thank you for the congratulations on getting another human being settled and getting a full refund. I now am getting annoyed and am logging off. I no you won't
Miss me that point has been made quite clearly!0 -
Who mentioned a Doctor?:DDVardysShadow wrote: »The bit about the doctor was a step too far.
I did not see the thread, but once you put a thread out there, you have to accept what comes back for the most part. It is fine to ignore stuff you disagree with, it is fine to say you disagree - even better to give some reasons.
But telling people not to post because you disagree is just a red rag to a bull and frankly, it is quite rude of you to do so and to state that their opinions are of no value is being offensive.0 -
It wasnt said cash refund was unacceptable but unlikely they had that funds onsiteScooter_lady wrote: »Omg, for the billionth time no he doesn't and even if he did, he didn't want a cheque. I asked for help to get a cash refund and some of you deemed this as unacceptable. You now are prooving

Is there any need to speak to someone like that?
No, and you do not know what MSE will do in regards to the thread (neither do I) but the only thing I can see is someone (you) being overly aggressive towards someone, unnecessarily so.0 -
This is getting boring.. I too am pleased for the OP's friend, as he sounds like someone vulnerable and having a hard time.
But if the OPs starts another thread with such a confrontational tone, to pick a fight, she can't complain if she gets one. It's obvious that there are people here who are rude and unhelpful, but your new thread is like a red rag to a bull.0
