What I would like to know is how I would go about taking paypal to court.
Firstly they told the seller of the car i bought and paid for, to inform the police that it had been stolen, secondly my money.
Please stop bickering about my brothers account, I posted that info just to give reason for my account suspesion, which is nothing to do with me!
PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT TO DO!
Thanks for all your advice. What goes around - comes around

I spoke to paypal on the phone, told them he lives on the same street, has the same surname and has a btinternet.com email address. The man said I should email paypal this information which I did, and then got that reply.
The department that deals with limited accounts won't speak to me over the phone, I am only allowed to email them or speak to another dept and they then pass it on to them. Absolutely crazy. What goes around - comes around

Have you looked at your credit record recently?
Bear with me - it's possible it shows a financial association with your brother. Obviously you have separate financial affairs, but if paypal are to be convinced of that, you need to check your credit record imo. You can have him removed from the credit record, and it may help your case.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

I am registered with credit expert and just did a check, nothing regarding my brother on it and nothing untoward.
Thanks anyway. What goes around - comes around

Not that it makes much difference now.
But did you ever access your paypal account from your brothers house (or vice versa) or send money to eachother?
This is often how paypal tie people in together and this tactic of freezing your account is designed to encourage you to make your brother pay up.0 -
