Could I make a request Fortune? Could you please paint a (blue?) dragonfly? Possibly in portrait with your signature next to the insect? Pretty please :A0

I am overwhelmed and delighted with your confidence in me. I promise to try all of these things in time. I'm still testing out my abilities and won't put anything in the shop that I wouldn't be happy to hang in my own home. You'll have to be patient with me as each individual subject takes many hours to complete and if I'm not happy with then end result it goes in the bin!
Greent - I love those botanical studies showing all parts of the plant too and that's probably in line with my style of painting so I'll definitely be trying that out.
PAP - I've been very tempted to try a dragonfly, the wings just look so intricate and difficult to capture. I won't improve unless I push myself though so a dragonfly is now on the list.
Mint and Megala - Bluebells, Poppies and Lavender on the list too. It's great to get your ideas because I can see what might appeal to people. Just hope I can produce something of a good standard.
Thanks everyone. Better get the paints out then :rotfl:

I'm fretting that, if someone suggests a subject to me and I then paint it, they will feel obliged to buy it. Please, please, please only buy something because you love it (and can afford it) and for no other reason.
It's great to get suggestions as these stretch me as an artist and give me an idea of what might be popular. All paintings help to increase my stock which I need to do, as the more stock I have, the more views I get in the shop.
Is that ok? Good, in that case....

First attempt at flowers.
In other MS news:- framed the paintings for the florist and went to deliver them only to find the shop closed - opening times did say until 4.30 pm on a Saturday and it was only 2.30 pm
- gave in to the urge for a Cornflake Cluster Bite only to find Mr F had eaten the lot! They were supposed to be for his lunch box next week
- listed an Orange-tip Butterfly on F0lk$y
- neighbour-across-the-lane bought over a brand new photo frame she'd discovered and gave it to me for the cause
I've got such lovely neighbours
- leftover Veg & Cheesy Rice Bake for supper tonight
