:rotfl:I'm imagining the Disney movie (Sleeping Beauty???) where she calls out to all the woodland creatures to help tidy her home and they all come scurrying in to help.. but bugs in your case!

I wouldn't mind if they'd come to help with the housework! :rotfl:

Had a lovely day out yesterday with the mums and kids. We dropped them off at the swimming pool whilst we went for coffee and cake and a mooch around the shops. I was relatively good though:
- I drove so neighbour-across-the-lane paid for parking
- £7.30 for coffee and banoffee pie (come on - who could resist that?)
- Salmon Salad Nicoise and a diet cola for lunch. Neighbour-across-the-lane paid for me in exchange for my butterfly painting :T She'd been looking for a birthday present for a relative and thought the butterfly would be perfect
- £4.50 in 0xfam for some picture frames
- popped into Waitr0$£ and did a little shop. I'm hoping this will see us through until next week's delivery and shave about £50 off the budget :T
- £10.00 for 2 sets of wine charms made by neighbour-across-the-lane. The first Christmas present purchases this year - sssssh
- came home to 2 Folksy sales - thank you so much my MSE friends. I can't tell you how pleased I am :jThat makes 3 sales and a swopsie so far.
- leftover Spanish Omelette and garden salad for supper
- Step this morning and it was very, very, hard
- got a commission from one of the ladies at Step - she wants 2 paintings each of 2 butterflies. Better get practising!
Happy Friday everyone

Was thinking about you FS when reading posh magazine (3 for £1 offer obviously
). They had a matching pair of insect wings which cost a fortune and looked really nice. Quite big. Also have you thought about flowers - or leaves?

Hello greent. Lovely to see you. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for Mr greent. Hopefully there'll be some good news soon.
Thank you for being so nice about the paintings. I hope no one is feeling obliged though - please, please don't buy if that's the case. If people do want to buy, I'm not charging shop costs for friends so do contact me before pressing any buttons.
Speak soon

Hi Gally
funnily enough I was doing some sketching of flowers last night - whilst Mr F was watching T0p G£ar (again) :rotfl:and think I'll give them a try. I'm amazed at what some people can charge. Mr F has already asked me if he can retire yet :rotfl:

oooh - stinging nettles (in flower) with ladybirds on....... or lavender with or without buzzing bee(s) - I'd be up for those!
oooh - or bluebells... maybe in the style you see sometimes in books where it goes down to the bulb and roots too.....
oooh - the possibilities are endless!!!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200
