Your new drawings of butterfly and the 7-spot ladybug are lovely. You are very very talented
Thank you US - couldn't have done this without all the great support here.

Had to be a Cabbage White didn't it?
Thought of you when I watched them dancing around my garden yesterday!
Of course - as the only purpose of my Savoy Cabbages seems to be furthering their survival! They've been turned into lace

.... Lindy Hopping! Our local pub held an Adlertag yesterday (Eagle Day - first day of a German operation to destroy the RAF). They had a life size replica Spitfire, lots of classic cars, a BBQ and a Lindy Hop group. Mr F took the afternoon off and we went with some friends - Mr F in friend's E-type Jag
. We had a great time and I even learnt a few Lindy Hop steps :rotfl:It was fab - I might try some classes.
MS:- finished painting an Oak Bush-Cricket
- hinging tape and picture mounts arrived. Very pleased with the mounts which are great quality
- mounted three paintings. They look very professional sealed in cellophane bags
- took a Two Spot Ladybird over to neighbour-across-the-lane. It will go into the raffle at the local Scout Group Summer Fair. Funds for them and maybe a little advertising for me
- framed the Large White Butterfly painting in a vintage frame
- updated my Folksy listings
- £28 spent at the pub on drinks (from the entertainment budget). Mr F treated me to the BBQ and an ice cream
- friends invited us out for a meal to say thank you for some work Mr F did on the E-type
- a quick supper of Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and Cherry Tomato Sauce and salad from the garden

A Lindy Hopping sounds like a bug you could paint :rotfl:

DC was supposed to be dropping by this afternoon but had to cancel as she's hurt her shoulder
So what did I do with this unexpected spare time? Cleaned the bathroom :rotfl:
MS today:- mounted the remaining paintings and updated the listings
- tried to put some into frames for taking to the florist but the frames didn't come with mount boards so I've had to order some
- listed the Oak Bush-Cricket
- painted and listed a trio of ladybirds and mentioned Tilly as my inspiration :T
- did the budgeting for September (Omg - is it nearly September already). Should be quite a bit to put away in savings this time although it's all earmarked for the house alarm
- Spanish Omelette with Baked Beans for supper tonight :rotfl:Had to improvise as I'd forgotten to buy an essential ingredient for each of the dishes left on this week's meal plan

Love, love, love the way you have taken your photos with the paints beside them. Looks very nice and they look much brighter than the other pictures. Can I say I don't like the background when they are against the pianoBUT they look ok there when they are in a frame... Sorry being honest :silenced:
Glad to see you are still enjoying it. I have shared your link on facebook but if/when you get business cards or if you think about making a poster/sign I will happily stick one on my car/in shop windows down here for you
happy hump day :beer:0 -
The trio of ladybirds is fab - I'm away at the moment but can you put no. 1 aside for me. If thats the one you have sold, get your paints out girl. That would make a lovely birthday gift to me and it's a big birthday this year - I'll let the kids know I've chosen my gift
. Thank you for the dedication
I'm having to catch up on diaries as I'm in travelling and then holiday mode.

Thank you PAP. I agree - I was pleased with the way the paint/brushes pictures came out. I used the piano mainly because it has an easel on it so they are easy to prop up but it does look a bit dull in the photos. I'll keep experimenting.
Please do keep giving me your feedback - I really appreciate it. And thank you sooooo much for the marketing:):)
