I've been out every day this week but at least it's been to earn money rather than to spend it :rotfl:Today's day at home is very welcome and I'm intending to catch up on some housework - and telly :rotfl:

    MS:
    • went into the office for a couple of hours yesterday morning and went back last night for an evening meeting. The auditor will have to come back on Tuesday to make up for the day he missed but the finance officer should be back by then so I'm hoping I won't be needed. Another project has come up, however, which will mean some extra hours for me :T
    • took a packed lunch with me
    • I have a birthday this month so have started to receive vouchers; Caf£ Roug£ have given me a bottle of champagne next time I eat there and a local pub have given me a free main course. Mr F has a birthday in April so another voucher from the pub should arriving for him too
    • the H0bb$ fascinator has arrived although I haven't opened it yet. I'm sure it will be fine as I bought the same style last year for an event
    • tried a new recipe in the meal plan for last night - Salmon Layer Bake with Potatos, Dill and Cream which we had with cabbage. Fabulous! Will definately be making that one again
I'm doing some career coaching for a friend of a friend tonight which I'm really looking forward to. It's a favour so I'm not charging but they may want MBTI as well, if so, I will charge for that.

Enjoy the sunshine if you have it

  • Well done FS sounds like a day of rest and telly is well deserved!! :)
I'm intrigued as to what MBTI stands for....(M for...mortgage...money...mindfullness....I could go on but I wont! ;))

The salmon layer bake sounds delicious. Where did you find the recipe?

I love reading your diary as it reminds me that I should be going out and spending time with my friends.

Even though I had no idea what a MBTI is, a quick search on G00gle reveals that it stands for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

Hi TYO. TheWebDev is spot on - MBTI stands for Myers Briggs Type Indicator. It's one of the personality assessments I'm qualified in. One of my favourites actually as it doesn't predict performance - just preferences. It looks at where you get your energy from, the type of information you prefer to use, how you like to make decisions and live your life generally. I like the idea of an MS version though.... Thanks WebDev - although that's why I have a diary, to keep the lillies in check!

  • I enjoyed my day at home so much yesterday that I've decided to have another one today :rotfl:Although that does mean I'm missing Step this morning :o. I feel the need to pause, take stock and plan. We're already in March and I've not begun the 3 projects I wanted to start work on this year so something needs to change. More discipline in my day I think ... oops

    MS yesterday
    • Tillytidied 65p
    • reconciled the bank accounts - a couple of minor revisions but all in my favour :)
    • planned the budget for April - early I know but I just can't stop myself from looking ahead
    • did the weekly online Waitr0$£ shop. Should be about £14 over budget for the week. However, I've shopped to cover the next two weeks so that we can use anything left over to fund meals whilst we're away next weekend
    • booked Mr F and I into the local pub for a traditional Sunday lunch this weekend. We usually have our main meals in the evening and, as I can't eat much meat, that's rarely a roast. Mr F is having Sunday lunch cravings though so I thought I'd treat him with my voucher
    Right, let planning commence

Not much to report - yesterday was a quiet day MS wise:
    • Waitr0$£ delivered - £11.50 over budget for the week but £88.50 underbudget over two weeks :T We'll use that for funding meals while we're away next weekend
    • a 50p Tillytidy
    • realised it was DS1's girlfriend's birthday this week too! Fortunately, Laura Ashl£y have a sale on a the moment - £26.90. I've budgeted around £25 for each of the girls. That's £25 less than I'd usually spend on them but I've managed to get things on offer so it looks like I've spent more. We can deliver them all at the weekend when we visit so that cuts postage costs as well. Just need to check what I've got in terms of wrapping paper and cards now
    • a cupboard lunch and supper. Mr F went to the pub to watch the rugby with a friend at 4.00 pm and came back at 9.00 pm thinking I'd be happy to cook him supper at that time! I compromised with cheese on toast :D
We are out for a Sunday lunch today and I'm planning to catch up on some admin work later.

    Have a good Sunday
