    Days longer.
I think we had at least an extra 1/2 an hours daylight earlier :j :j

I thought they were Beanie but wondered if it was too soon and it was just my imagination. Nice to have a little more light.

  • Just as I thought, one errant Christmas decoration has been discovered hiding and returned to the box :rotfl:

A Lily day today - a knitting club outing to a wool shop :rotfl: Although we did take the opportunity to have a light lunch and a catch up beforehand. Costs will come from my personal spends.

I didn't buy any wool as I have some already but did do some shopping for a few items on the list. Also bought a couple of replacement oven tins as mine are so rusty now I was embarrassed to be seen using them over Christmas. Lak£land had a buy one, get one half price offer so I took advantage of that.

Some more de-sequinning of the Christmas jumper is on the plan for tonight and, as I'm feeling a little inspired by the knitting ladies, perhaps I'll start a project.

Friday tomorrow :j It's come around so fast this week.

    Hello Fortune :)

I've just got back, slowly picking up again - fascinated to hear of your biking exercise, to get you fitter this year. I carried on cycling till I was 25 or so, but I need a bike for local town trips, and maybe special areas like your cycling park. Wondering about a folding one, so I can keep it in the porch of the house, rather than taking it round the side of the house to store in the brick shed (once it's been renovated, which will take forever).

Where do you store the bikes for you and OH?

Lovely to have you back Karma. Mr F has a huge garage where we hang the bikes on the walls. He loves his garage. It's more important to him than the house and is possibly bigger!

The garage makes sense ... I think I'm going to have to delay bike purchase till the shed and the garden gate are renovated/repaired. Thanks for that!

I have a Pashley bike. Beautiful and I love it but difficult to store. I am going for Brompton next time, much easier to store when at home and when out and about especially on trains...

Well done on your bike riding Fortune Smiles, especially as you are new to this. :)
