Thanks Pearla. I am feeling more energetic now I've made the decision to leave. Good job really as all my adventures seem to be coming at once!PurpleFairy26 wrote: »Great work mr f I too love candles but have curbed my 'need'how wonderful you can make them.
He's a good sort Purp and I'm lucky to have him. Candles are surprisingly easy to make once you know how... hope these aren't famous last words :rotfl: We have lots of country and craft fairs around here and there are a lot of people making and selling candles now. Much more affordable than your J0 Mal0n£$, etc.

I feel very virtuous today as lots of things got ticked off my to do list:
- four loads of washing done and dried on the line. Thought I'd take advantage of the late summer weather
- planned housework completed
- leftover quiche for supper with chips and beans
- a large pile of filing done.
Today's adventure was an extra WI trip to try archery. Much fun but I don't think I'll make the next olympics :rotfl:
That's three nights out in a row nowAlthough all low cost so didn't break the fun budget. Back to loaves tomorrow though as I'm working in the afternoon.
Happy hump day all

I am not at work today because it seems I may have broken my little toe
I remember stubbing it whilst hoovering on Wednesday but didn't think I'd done much damage. Had to be hoovering didn't it. Couldn't be waterskiing or rock climbing or anything adventurous or glamorous.
Anyhooo - toe was a little sore yesterday and, although I couldn't get a closed shoe on, I could walk on it fine. So I went to work and took a tour out.
Got home and realised toe was bruised and had doubled in size. I can still walk on it but am I'm thinking I really shouldn't be.
I was supposed to be working in the office today but discovered yesterday that I'd been booked in for two tours. That's an awful lot of walking so I've cried off. Hate to leave them in the lurch but don't want to do any further damage.
This may curtail the weekend's planned adventures too
Hey ho. Nothing I can do about it so a day on the sofa catching up with bake off is on the cards. Silver linings...

Hope little toe is better soon. Dr said, feet up and rest, no housework/shopping/cooking for a week, and certainly no hoovering, didn't he?
