I like the sounds of those guide jobs ...
Poor moggy! I know how it happens tho - I've got pic after pic of mine crouched in tiny cardboard boxes where they wriggled and wriggled to get themselves inside it :rotfl::rotfl:
Enjoy the research - it can be quite fun sometimes!
The Fortunate Cat is very keen on looking in cupboards - she just looks when it's a kitchen cupboard but likes to get in when it's a wardrobe :rotfl:Are you a chucker-in at the local pub.
I like to think of myself as a Pied Piper :rotfl:

I participated in some research today for my veg box company. They approached me a few weeks ago but I assumed I wasn't needed as I hadn't heard anything. Anyhow, it seems they had someone cancel and called me on Tuesday to see if I could go along. I've never done anything like that before and it sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a go.
It meant a trip into London but it was quite pleasant strolling along in the sunshine. Mr F ran me to and from the station so there was no parking to pay and I travelled off-peak so it was only £15 return.
The research involved some interview questions and doing some tasks on their website. It only took an hour and I found it quite interesting.
In return for my time I will get a credit of £15 to my account (so that covers the travel cost) and I came home with a bag for life with £50 of products inside :T There were also refreshments provided so I had a light lunch whilst there.
It was an interesting experience and made for a nice break in my routine. The mile walk back from their office to the station wasn't quite as pleasant though carrying a bag full of bottles and jars - I swear my arms are an inch longer now :rotfl:
There are some very yummy things in the bag - Mr F has already raided it and opened a packet of biscuits.
No cooking tonight as we have some pasta bake left over from last night.
All downhill to the weekend now!

Oh that sounds good! Very enjoyable
I went to a focus group about websites many moons ago - I yattered on endlessly about how wonderful mse was
and since I was working in North London every Friday at the time, the travel was "free", as I'd have paid it anyway
Being paid in goodies from your veg box company sounds an excellent deal!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I like focus groups, although the opportunity to attend them in Glos appears to be limited. I wouldn't mind doing some more things like this greent. I'm only an hour away from London so there must be lots of opportunities here.

I've had a very lazy day today and haven't achieved much except for reconciling and tidying the bank accounts.
There's another cat work in progress on FB today for anyone who's curious https://www.facebook.com/BeeGardenArt. And I've put all my car prints on Fleabay to see if I get any interest.
Beetroot Risotto for supper this evening. Can't believe beetroot used to be one of my least favourite foods - I've grown to like it now. I will be trying Jerusalem Artichoke for the first time this week as it was one of the things in my veg box.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Thank you Karma. I've just posted the next one https://www.facebook.com/BeeGardenArt I tackled the eyes early as I think they're very important in capturing the animal's personality. I'm trying to space things out a bit so I don't overwhelm everyone's timelines but it's hard because I'm so excited about my first pet portrait.
