You had me worried there about **people** thieving from your garden! But you have still lost the garlic :(

Interesting to think of the reflections to master, loving the sound of that. Enjoy the light :)

Sorry to give you a scare Karma. Mr Badger seems to be behaving now.

I love painting reflections but tree reflections are pretty tricky.

I seem to have rather a lot of it this week; chard, Chinese cabbage and two lots of spring greens! I will have to be inventive with this week's meal plan :rotfl:
    • no Step this morning as I woke up with a headache
    • but I did use the time to do more work on the car painting so all was not lost
    • my daily routine seems to be working as more housework was completed today and I am up to date with the washing. It does help when the weather's good enough to get stuff dried outside
    • I did a little work on my Folksy shop and added a further car print. The Aston owner has give me permission to sell prints too so that will be going on soon
    • ordered some more business cards
    • tonight's supper will be Chorizo & Pepper Lasagne.
Mr F is on his way home and the wine rack is calling.

    Happy Friday all

    A lovely social weekend:
    • round to a friends to watch the rugby on Saturday. I contributed an Apple & Vanilla Tart and Orange Posset with Rhubarb. Used up lots of fruit from my veg box and the first of the rhubarb from the garden. The Orange Posset receipe was delicious and I can still smell sweetened oranges when I open my fridge door. We took two bottles of red from the wine rack
    • Mr F left for business in Germany Sunday lunchtime so I joined Across-the-Lane-Neighbour and family for a visit to a local School farm to see the lambing - £2 entry fee. Back to theirs after for Sunday lunch. Contributed Potato Dauphinoise and a bottle of white.
Back to my routine today though. Step has been suffered, a couple of chores done and painting and housework planned for after lunch.

Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday whether with mums, as mums or remembering mums.

That really is a lovely weekend, Fortune :) very nice.

I haven't used my rhubarb regularly yet, I wanted to let it get established - but now, the older of my two plants has a double crown, and the stems look lovely and strong. Time to reap my reward, I think :)

    Where did those weeks go?

    Loaves and lilies to report:
    • day to day MS continues well. I have developed good habits like meal planning and PADing and these continue even when I'm not tracking things as regularly
    • however, I have lost track of bigger spends like birthdays and social events whilst away from my diary which has resulted in a bit of an overspend :o
    • Mr F did get a pay rise and a bonus :T Some of this will be eaten up in tax as HMRC didn't charge him anything for his company car last year again  The remainder we'll be putting aside for a holiday next year as I have a big birthday coming up and want to go away to celebrate
    • I have a new job! I wasn't looking but an ad-hoc job came up at a very local attraction so I am now a Tour Guide :rotfl:I'm waiting to hear on dates for my training so I can get started
    • both the cat and the Porsche paintings are now complete. The cat is in the hands of the owner now so I have started posting work in progress paintings https://www.facebook.com/BeeGardenArt
    • the less said about the diet the better - Easter has a lot to answer for :o
I hope you all had a good Easter and are enjoying some sunshine today.

Hi FS!!! Liking the first draft you've put onto f/b :) that's a name thats familiar to me from my own ...

And the job of tour guide sounds absolutely brilliant! I had a distant cousin who was a volunteer guide at Westminster Abbey back in the day, and it sounded amazing.
