Hi Fortune, thanks for the pink ginger cordial - I have a stack in the freezer which we are unlikely to get through this year, so I will have a dabble. Need to go and pull a wine bottle out of the recycling bin :rotfl:

I'm going to try mine as a hot drink - bet it would be very comforting if you have a cold. There's a recipe for Ginger Beer on the same site which I think I'll give a go too.

Hi US
I've sometimes used blackcurrants or raspberries instead but I think a drop of red food colouring would work just as well.

Hi, I make a ginger tea most days - not sure of the right method, but I drop an inch, bashed, into a mug, top with boiling water and leave to steep for 5 mins - delicious x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Today I have been mostly... Fleabaying. Inspired by ChopinonaBudget, I went through my whole DVD collection today and listed loads I know I will never watch again. Have now lost the will to live :rotfl:The proceeds will go towards the extra curtain rings I need in the dining room. When I was working (and felt rich even if I wasn't) I bought some very expensive, solid brass curtain poles for the two dining room windows. By the time we'd got round to putting them up I realised I needed double the number of curtain rings but, by then, I'd stopped work and couldn't justify spending the money. I'm fed up of looking at them half finished now so my Fleabay earnings will be going in that direction.
Other MS activity:- the remains of yesterday's Chorizo and Vegetable Pasta Bake for dinner tonight
- cut the last of the rhubarb from the garden and made a Rhubarb and Pear Crumble (a treat for Mr F who had his head stitches out today
). Plenty of rhubarb left over so I will make that into compote tomorrow
- Waitr0$£ delivered. Free mushrooms, tomatos, avocados and noodles plus a large bag of rocket for the price of a small one (substitute) :T. I love Wait0$£.
- Mr F got paid today so I did the monthly money shuffle. £900 going into the savings but we need to keep £800 of that for the new gates so not much change to my signature figures
- two small PADs to the savings
Friday tomorrow :j
