Thanks guys - you really help me to stay confident. I usually feel really proud of myself when I finish a picture but then something shakes me and I don't think it's any good at all

Greying
I'm not holding my breath Greying - there's some stunning work in the gallery already. However, this is the first time I've been confident enough to enter and I'd say that's progress

Thanks greent. I learnt so much from painting this one. The next may not be such a pretty subject though!

The first day of Mr F's week at home and we are rubbing along quite nicely:
- Step class this morning. I probably wasn't quite well enough to go but I didn't want to leave it any longer. Very hard and I clock watched all the way through!
- made a virtual visit to J0hn L£wi$. Bought some replacement beauty products and some birthday presents. Used my £10 CP voucher but ended up paying for postage so the presents will get here in time - doh! That'll teach me to procrastinate
- bought a couple of items for Mr F's fancy dress costume for the weekend. We are going as Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Across-the-lane-neighbour has lent us the costumes but a couple of finishing touches were needed - white stockings :rotfl:
- Potato & Savoy Cabbage Soup from the meal plan for lunch http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4772/potato-and-savoy-cabbage-soup-with-bacon
- remind me not to speak too soon about HMR&C. Mr F called his Payroll Department today to check they'd received a new tax code. They had but not the one we'd been given. After a long wait to talk to someone at the tax office it turns out they received a P11D from Mr F's company after my call and added the details from that. So Mr F's company car was recorded twice! They have changed his tax code back now but SERIOUSLY!
- manage to get a load of washing dry on the line
- got some housework and ironing done despite Mr F being in the way :rotfl:
- Spinach & Three Cheese Cannelloni from the meal plan for supper... only, I couldn't get cannelloni so I made it as a lasagne instead :rotfl:Still very delicious though http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/10192/spinach-and-three-cheese-cannelloni.
Mr F has convinced me to do a Land Rover picture next time
Hope your week is off to a good start

Today's short cut to happiness - coming across a magnificent peacock strolling down the lane on my way home from the gym

Well I didn't want to be too blatant but that's what the "so far!" meant :rotfl:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

doesn't make you dynamic! I thought it was time to step up my fitness regime and, as Mr F is around a lot more now, looked into evening classes at the gym. A friend had said she would be interested in trying yoga so we signed up. Oh my word, I've never worked so hard in my life! I'm exhausted.
- presents and fancy dress items have all arrived. Mr F's white tights have little bows on them :rotfl:
- managed to get 2 more loads of washing dry on the line, however...
- dry washing means more ironing had to be done
- had my hair done - no increase on the cost this time
- made 2 jars of sloe gin to take up to the boys
- picked up the framed Daffodils. Bit of a palaver with that though. I was waiting for the framers to call to say they were ready but no call came. I 'phoned today at about 3.30 to ask if they'd be ready to pick up tomorrow only to be told they were closed tomorrow for two weeks  As they closed today at 4.30 there was no way I could get to them in time. They did offer to deliver to the house on their way home but it would have taken them miles out of their way so in the end we agreed a meeting point convenient to both of us. At least it's saved me a trip into town tomorrow and they have done a marvellous job
- Sausages & Mash with Peas and a Redcurrant Gravy for supper tonight (that's a jar of Redcurrant Jelly gone Tilly!)
It'll be worth it... won't it?
Happy Hump Day
