Right. I've done a little more work on the Daffodils this morning and I'm happier with them. l've also sent a copy to her sister to get an opinion. Hopefully they will get the thumbs up. Just need to get them framed in time now.https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6623005/happy-days-in-our-golden-years/p1?new=1

Thank you wonderful people - my confidence is restored. Georgia O'Keefe! I have to admit I'd never seen her work before but, with a little help from G00gl£, I am now educated. Wow! The sister has seen the picture and likes it so I'm off to the framers today.
Mr F comes home this evening. He has been having a fabulous time away. Apparently there is an international conference for him to attend every 6 months and it's in a different country every time. That should satisfy his wanderlustI'm quite glad he's away at the moment as I've picked up a little bug. Nothing serious but it was making me feel a big fluey so I've just been taking it easy the last couple of days.
Mr F's first expenses payment has come through. I am sorting these out for this job because Mr F is carp at it! Plus everything is going through the new JL card so we can get vouchersbut that does mean I have to extricate the business expenses from the personal ones.
The Daffodil picture is the last present/commission I have to do for the moment so I'm going to start producing work for the shop again now. I'm a member of a virtual painting club that has a monthly challenge and I'm thinking of participating in this. It will push me to try things I wouldn't usually consider and help me to develop my technique - plus I can sell the results!
Downhill to the weekend guys!

Thank you so much Greying. I am considering doing some cards to sell in the online shop but am not sure what subjects to choose. Perhaps my MS friends could help me out with some ideas?
Do stick around.

Fortune - Georgia O'Keefe is probably the only artist I have ever visited an exhibition to see. I went to see her exhibition at the Hayward Gallery in the early 90's. Possibly just around the time of her death, or just after. There was a lot of her 'white' paintings and New Mexico stuff, but stunning, none-the-less. I also remember that in the top floor *gallery*, an artist...... had cut a panel out of the ceiling, and put benches underneath. I'm not sure I'd call it art, but *framing* the sky certainly makes you focus on it - and it was wonderful
Oh, and ideas for subjects?
a) that which normally goes unnoticed*, and
b) anything that fills a soul with Joy
