I taut the gods were playing wit me eyes this morning .... the cream one was in stock! I had another battle with myself for 2 1/2 minutes and ordered. I've now had an email saying that it's on its way! So, of course, now, I have no choice but to have one. I did really want one but was worrying about the red one fitting in with my other kitchen 'essentials' ... OMG! I'm quite excited now : )

I found one of the cream ones in stock yesterday morning and it has now been despatched.

To anyone who missed out, if you check in the morning (I check around 8am) they often have 1 or 2 items back in stock and they do get delivered....sometimes.

Does anyone know if the 4 slice chrome colour was ever part of this sale? Iv seen the 2 slice crome, but not the 4. Or was I just too slow ?

Really fed up with M & S - will not order in their sale again - an almighty c**k up and useless order system that doesn't know where its at !! If you too have become a victim of this please let them know too - utterly pants.:mad:

I ordered on the 12th - wasn't sure if free delivery so opted for instore pick up - earliest date for this was Mon 16th. My 2 sandwich toaster holders where cancelled on 13th as no longer available - all else fine. Before setting off today thought I would check that item in store as hadn't heard anything - logged on to track to find it still says to be despatched (the day after due to be picked up)! Called to check and after looking and not finding eventually comes back to say she thinks its out of stock and will need to cancel order!

Speaking to her and a Manager I have been able to show by this website (not that they took notice) that people have ordered after my order and received the item. I have stated that I expect them to honour the order but they have said they are out of stock and will not be able to. Despite me being able to see that M&S put the item back in stock on 13th (and people have ordered and received these orders placed the day after mine). They will not comment on this but are cancellilng the order. I have asked when were they going to let me know that they couldn't supply the order - which they truly couldn't answer - a tawdry .. "I should have received an email....". They have no reply to the " I feel I have been discriminated against because I opted for in store delivery.." - they say not but evidence suggests other .....

Quite clearly they had no idea this order had not been fulfilled until I rang.:eek: Absolute pants! They have offerred a promotion code to be applied to my next order (as if..!) £10. Push for this fellow let down buyers.:(

The four slice chrome toaster came back into stock briefly this morning, so it's worth checking the website regularly.

Thanks Growly bear - me thinks need to call M & S again (see post above) - obviously one of the many chrome orders they forgot to fulfill sold again!:cool:
