always on a card unless bought direct from microsoft on the actual xbox.
OP how much did you pay? as asda have 12months prepaid card for £29
The codes are normally *on* cards, but not *sold on cards*.
There are plenty of places where you pay the money and they email you the code (normally along with a scan of the original card).
Enables you to use the code instantly, without waiting for (or paying for) delivery of the physical card.
This being the case, though, I really don't see how the OPs issues can have gotten this far unless there was something dodgy with the seller. Because if they claim they've not received the email, the seller just needs to resend the email...and if they still don't get it, they can tell them the code over the phone or something...all a bit weird.0 -
hence why i always buy my xbox live stuff from asda/amazon at least i get the actual card..Sealed pot challenger # 10

What does that matter? The card has zero value...the code is what you're paying for. I've bought codes online loads of time and never had a single issue...much faster and more convenient...and paid a lot less than an asda/amazon to boot!0 -

Exactly, the first sign of bother (ie. me complaining!) and the seller (who has loooaaads of +ve feedback) took the hump and refused to re-send the code via email ... he deffo has something to hide ... so what now? Leaves a well-nasty taste in my mouth and could give good sellers a bad name in terms of buyers deserting Ebay ... although still awaiting verdict, this all only happened on Monday night past0 -

Op did you buy the code as a hard copy item or an email? it's pivotal in whether you will lose your money or not.
You aren't helping yourself by not reading the comments on your own thread!0 -
Sorry, bought a code, feedback from seller as follows : -
"Your code will be sent to your PayPal email address same day as you pay!"
No hard copy.
No code arrived but he has plenty of daily +ve feedback.0 -
.....anyone know if he maybe has sent the code and I simply can't find it? He claims he sent it and it ain't in my junk mail.0

Is your PayPal email address the same as your eBay email address?
If not, are looking in the correct account?0 -
