Bamama - that is lovely!!! See - he's just trying to provide for you and probably doesn't even realise you feel this way! I don't think you doubt the way he feels. In fact I know you don't. You just can't understand things from his point of view. I don't understand my husband's point of view sometimes either. That's totally normal. The world would be very boring if we were all alike!

I missed all those last posts! Nephtys, wow at the liquid they extracted!!! I hope you feel better soon!

My DH likes to stay around as much as he can. If he's got the chance to stop by at lunch between meetings, he does. He's thinking of taking holidays next week in case I am overdue so he can stay at home and look after me, but then if I give birth, I'm not sure how that would work out with the paternity leave. There's a lot of info on maternity leave, yet almost nothing on paternity leave and what happens if you start it whilst on holiday and if there are bank holidays in the middle. Common sense tells me he should get the remaining holidays back plus bank holidays, but I cannot find anything in writing from an official source, as to be able to give it to his employer if they disagree. Weird. I am very lucky, my DH has been looking after me and doing stuff around the house / not bothering I wasn't doing stuff around the house, which is as important!!! He does not get paid for overtime so there's no point in working extra hours, that might make a lot of a difference in some cases, specially if your economy struggles without two incomes. I cannot wait to see his reaction when she's born, it's our first and the first baby in his family. He talks to the bump and pokes her when she moves, I am warning her she'll get tickled a lot! It took me a long time to find someone to love, but I am very glad I kept looking, even though I was worried I could not wait for too long because of the biological clock!! 34 now, so after this one I should start thinking about the next one! Lol

Marta your OH sounds lovely too. On the holiday front he should get them back but he doesn't need to start PL as soon as baby is born. In fact... they can take the two weeks any time in the first year (I'm pretty sure). So he can just take holidays then his PL

marta, I've not been doing mine too much either but I believe the out-breath is more important than the in-breath so if you need to breathe in through your mouth and nose do that. The out breath should be the slow relaxed one, let the in breath take care of itself.

neph that is so sweet about what you wrote about your oh. i think that is true about when they actually see the little one and they melt. apparently my fil cried so much when he saw dh being born and otherwise he is such a man's man. i think dh will be the same. he doesnt show his emotional side very much but i reckon when he sees little bubba he will change. i cant wait to see that. at the mo all he is doing is the provider thing too. meh.. i feel bad as have to wake him up when i am feeling so crap at night. slept a bt better but get up still.. always find it more comfy to sleep on my back for a bit. is that weird?

i m tired now. went to the doc to give in wee sample and then went into town to get some bras but debenhams were so short staffed, there was no staff so i didnt get measured. wanted a pedicure and the place i like has shut down, so went and had my eyebrows done and face waxed and then came home. pooped now..my amazon stuff part 1 is here, and paet 2 tomorrow.

Not sure what it was called but it was 5 couples and the babies talking about feelings After the birth and ways of soothing a crying baby. For me this was the best part as I've always hated the sound of a child crying and have had slightly worrying thoughts that my baby is going to cry and I won't ever be able to do anything about it.

The weather is on and off here today, every time I wanted to go outside yep it was raining and when I was sat on my bum eating lunch it was sunny!

I am in a bad mood today, I'm uncomfortable, needing to pee every 5 minutes and had to get up early to go to the dentist

Hope you are ok queenb. i had a day like yours yest. today i am just still tired lol. luckily the weather is ok but still cold. so did my bit in the morning and am chilling now. have tons of washing up to do and clothes to sort out so better do that shortly. not in a hurry though lol. watching family guy at the same time too for a bit of a laugh
