I've got midwife appointment on Friday, when I'll be 39+6. She said last time that she'd probably be able to offer a stretch and sweep, so I think I'll probably go for it of she gives me the chance. I just have a feeling this baby's going to be really late.

Good luck for your appointment tomorrow Moneypuddle. Have you decided yet if you're going to go for the sweep?

As for me, I'm not feeling too bad, just finding that I'm really tired. I seem to need a lot more hours of sleep, and am finding it really hard to get out of bed in the mornings.
Still trying to crack on with de-cluttering the house - have got rid of a few bits, but it's such slow going :cool: Have been offering some things on freecycle - can't believe how rude some people can be on there - just no manners at all :eek:

Right, off to have a shower, get dressed and get on with some more jobs.

Afternoon ladies

I'm definitely coming down with something, feel all achy/fevery now meh! Plus Beanie woke up about 15 minutes into my meeting and thrashed about for over an hour which made it hard to sit still, let alone concentrate and contribute to the discussions! It got to the point where our director of S&T leaned over and asked if it hurt when the baby made my stomach move so much! :rotfl::o

DH's youngest brother has finally confirmed his flights back to the East (he's been in NZ for 2 years and is coming back for a month from next week before heading off to Japan for at least 6 months), and unless Beanie makes an early appearance he's going to miss meeting them, as he's off on the 10th November

Need some early (but not too early as we have father-in-laws wedding in a week and a half) labour vibes here! I've been trying to convince myself all along that Beanie will be 2 weeks late so as not to get too upset if I go past due date, but it would be really nice for DB to meet his first niece/nephew before he goes

So I had a shower and have got dressed, which I suppose is a good start, but I seem to have come over a bit light headed, which is a bit odd. I really hope it's not sinus infection or labrynthitis coming back again, as have been a bit headachy the last few days. I know that Bean will be here soon, but I think you're not meant to take antibiotics if you're breast feeding are you? Oh well, just have to wait and see and hope it goes away :cool:

i popped out to get some lunch and all of a sudden i felt so weak and nausea. i am back at my desk now and still feeling a bit faint. i hope it passes and i dont end up passing out here.

ok i am back with some more questions.. does anyone feel faint at times? also my tummy feels rock hard and quite tight from inside. had some weird pains which have subsided now. i was starting to panic. bubs being quiet too. i dont want to panic.

All pregnant women feel faint at times and all pregnant tums feel rock hard at times.

Here's some possible explanations.. at your stage of pregnancy, your blood volume's really increasing. This can lead to feeling light-headed, palpitations etc. It usually subsides around 32 weeks onwards.

The tightness might be Braxton Hicks! Particularly if it comes and goes (like a contraction). Even if it's there all the time - don't worry about it. I remember my tum feeling like a rock some days, and quite blobby on others. A lot depends on how the baby's lying.

Are you 28 weeks yet? If you feel your baby's quiet, try to lie down for an hour after having a cold drink. If you still don't feel anything in that time and you're still worried, give your midwife a call. Babies have quiet days and active days, try not to worry.

You've spent the last five months having 'weird pains', my lovely. They've never been anything sinister yet, have they? And neither are these, my little bundle of worriness x.

FLUFF!!! yay.. i was wondering whether you would reply and you did. thanks hon... You know how bad i was before? i have calmed down quite a lot but with today's feeling of fanitness and me nearly passing out, i got a bit worried. i feel some sort of movement now. so iam starting to calm down. also at work,so its so hard to monitor stuff. bubs was quiet at night too, even though i felt some bits here and there. the tummy feeling tight is weird. yes i am not 28+3 today. just keep worryng about bubs. hugs..x
