Rups, dont get over excited hun, remember that only 2% of babies are born in their due date. Just enjoy your time and relax, believe me when she/he is ready there will be no time for anything else...
My poor friend, her first child was 10 days overdue and now her 2 child is due today but no signs... she said she knew he will be late too... poor girl,, i have always been told that second babies are usually here before and labour is faster.

yes you are right morocha. i should chill out rather than compare myself and be impatient. when baby is ready it is ready. :) my mum just said that. so when waters back i will go and shower and shave my bits and bobs and think about lunch lol.. no point stressing.. as long as i can feel baby move i am happy. xxx

Just popping on to say merry Christmas everyone! I've been out and done the last bits of shopping.. Now going to wrap DH presents whilst he's down the pub, then I'm going to join him... It's what we do every Christmas eve to catch up with all our friends.

Happy due date Rups and lozzy!

Good luck Bamama... Hope you get the best Christmas present-cuddles with your little one x x x

  • Hi ya, been really hectic here.
I'm 36wks now, I have 8 more working days left now, not worked Mons for the 6wks to use up holiday days and then finish work on 11th Jan for mat leave, due 22nd jan.

Aquayoga has been fab, shame they stop for school breaks....
nct antenatal sessions have been great, breastfeeding was interesting and very anti bottle feeding and the last session, they got a last course mum & dad & baby in to change feed/nappy/bath baby. First due nct lady had a lovely boy yesterday a day early.
I need to start listening to the hypnobirthing CDs I picked up off eBay - not sure it's a mind thing only but in for a penny and all that.

Flu jab completed handful of weeks ago, whooping cough 3 weeks ago, arm was very red and tender, what on earth was in that jab?

hospital basic tour covered when i had 36 wk scan today, which confirmed placenta had moved up from the bottom, as in the 20 wk scan, confirmed she is laying with back to my LHS, head down. Scan quality was good, she was sucking/kissing it, we have a fab profile pic printed as scanning lady thought it was sooo cute!

Generally fat, ankles/feet swelling, find it hard to bend over do shoes up, heart burn kills at times, pelvis/groin area aches badly now, suppose as she is engaged. Nothing really bad, been really well all the way so far compared to many.
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect, you've just decided to see beyond the imperfection.....
