I don't know the answer to your question, but it does seem surprising that your order has just disappeared. I'd certainly send a message to the client. The woman that's checking these orders seems pleasant, from the limited contact I've had so far. I'd ask her what's happened, it might just be a technical glitch?
ThanksI've sent her a message, no response as yet. I might try resubmitting the article I've already written, but since (when I reselected it from the pool) it tells me this is my last chance at writing it, I don't want the same thing to happen again. Annoying!

Went back and checked my past submissions, and the one I'd written wasn't there. Luckily I keep a folder on my computer of all the articles I write, so checked that and yes, I have already written that one.
So it would appear that my previous submission has been rejected - which annoys me slightly as I didn't have any revisions come back. What to do about that? These articles are 1,500 words so take me a few hours of hard work to get right, having them rejected is no nice thing. I've picked up the same article again with the intention of resubmitting the one I've written, with perhaps a few minor tweaks. Is it worth emailing the client and asking what happened? This hasn't happened to any of my other articles for them, btw.
Is there a system on TB that tells you when a direct order has been rejected like there is on normal submissions?
Hi Catriona
The only way that can happen is if you missed the deadline. Are you doing the buying guides?
The client has to give you one chance to rectify any of the revisions and will usually give you 24 hours to do so. If the client rejects the order, they are only allowed to do so after you have been given the chance to rectify the situation.
If this is the buying guide team order, then you should email directly the support lady, who is extremely helpful. There are some of the articles that are very similar in titles. If as you say, a notification has popped up that you only have one more chance to write the article, that happens when you're timed out of an article, i.e missing a deadline.
If you look on your details on the home page, your rejection would reflect any rejections.
Email Vikki, she will sort you out.
Good luck.0 -

Thanks Sommer! Yes it is the buying guides I'm doing - Vikki responded to me earlier and it was as you said, they'd sent me a revision over the weekend (I had visitors so didn't log on), which timed out. I've now done the revision and resubmitted the article so hopefully all is well now. What a fool I am
Really enjoying these buying guides now I'm in the swing of doing them, I've learnt so much about things I never knew anything about:)

I see the team orders are now seriously low in numbers. There is very little work today. Hopefully as the day goes on, there will be some more work dribble on there.
I have had some buying guides in now for well over a week. I had to nudge TB this morning to get them through. I have had one accepted but still have three in waiting. Grrrr.0 -
I still have 5 big articles outstanding, so they won't be on this weeks payrun I doubt. Just picked up a general article for some light relief! And I hope they get another batch of team orders in soon.... How long has everyone been with them? It's coming up 2 months for me so I don't know how work flow goes usually.0

Hi Sarah
I have been with TB for a couple of years on and off, but recently I have picked it up again and have gradually just increased the work. I do pick the smaller ones as I can bang those out pretty quickly and the problem with the bigger orders, is that they can tie me up for quite some time and the waiting is always longer. I have done four buying guides and that's enough for me, I prefer the smaller ones. Although I do have some direct orders at the moment, which are good amounts. The work today has been scant, but I had kickbacks from revisions on the buying guides.
As I said in my earlier post, I try to earn around £50 a day, which is full time, but I do know when to switch off and I like it, it saves me a commute, it saves costs immensely and my tax will be pretty low when that comes in April and I do run it as a business. I haven't more money, but it has given us more freedom in that we are off ESA, which was horrendous, with my husband being disabled. For now, it is an income and I will stick at it, while the work is there, and looking at TB as a company, with a recent injection of cash, it certainly isn't going anywhere anytime soon.0
