Quite disappointed about this teamorder group I'm in. It still has 60 articles left (the team has only managed 18 since it started, they're so big) worth 42 euros each and the deadline is tomorrow morning. I hope they extend it and don't just remove them all. Such a big opportunity wasted if so
I'm concerned that the ones I have done are going to come back with lots of revisions, as I'm not 100% sure about the style the client wants. The revision rate for the client is over 30%, which is very high. I would really rather have waited until the first one was reviewed, before writing more, but thought I might as well work my way through a couple more in the meantime. Hope they are OK, I'm happy to carry on doing a few a week of these, but finding them quite hard work, so wouldn't want to do too many.
They've also got quite similar topics and I feel that I would end up repeating myself, if I did too many. Let's hope they don't expire, then we can carry on chipping away at them.0 -
Be interesting to see what revisions we get on these big orders.... I've had no feedback yet....0

Hi - I've just had my first acceptance of the four that have been written. No revisions needed. As I was explaining to somebody else, the best way to proceed is to open the example guide (baseball glove document) and use their formatting by copy pasting the headings/subheadings to retain the format (and tables too) and then changing the text into your own article content. Seems to have worked for me
Also, the admin overlooking this project was out of office until this morning. She is now back and working through the submissions.0 -
I have just had the first five rated and ended up 4*. The notes on theassignments has highlighted some interesting grammatical preferences, so Ithough I would share them in case it helps anyone else. (Notably the grammar preferencesare different to Constant Content, they are not as picky on semi colons etc).
There was the love of commas; they really, really like them!
They also like hyphens. For example, when writing about hotels I used the phrase 24 hour reception, they wanted it phrased as 24-hour.
Percentages: In one article which included GDP information I gave a figure in the format 23%, but they wanted it phrased 23 per-cent.

I'm really nervous about the above group. My submissions were quite different from the format, although I think the quality was good. I'd really have liked to have at least 1 rated before going on, but hey ho.0

I'm thinking.... Even if we get revisions ... Still worth it for the money.0 -
Has nobody attempted to write the lyrics for a car sales website song yet?0
-
You know, that would be a really fun assignment, but 1,000 words??! For a song?
It would go on for days!
I thought exactly the same, quite fancied writing a song but couldn't believe the length they were asking for.
Got my first guide reviewed (from the Team Order), a few revisions but very reasonable ones (don't use You, which is confusing as the title includes You) and don't tell they buyer what they can't do, instead say what they can do.
Have made the revisions and hope it will now be accepted, ideally by the end of tomorrow so I can include it in my payoff.0 -
Second of the team order guides accepted, 2 down 2 to go! Must be taking a long time to read through them all; kinda hoping they're done in time for tomorrow night to withdraw though0
