  • Thanks SarahCarer. I still can't figure it out but have sent the support team a message to ask how to make it work. Hopefully they'll get back to me quickly :)

Lovely, the client who invited me to the closed writing group she has has just added a new batch of 15 euro articles. Have easily made about £200 off her in the past two weeks!
  • The vast majority of work is 4 star and abobve but if you check regularly there is enough 3 star about to improve your ranking. takes time though!

How long do they usually take to adjust your rating(if needed) after your initial 5 articles? I read earlier in the thread about them blocking your account after these 5 articles - is that true? If so, for how long will they block it? Sounds pretty frustrating.

They usually take at least 2 weeks to review your first 5 articles. I agree that it is frustrating, but it is worth it once you can then write as many articles as you like.

Most of us were given 3 stars to start, including people who have worked as professional writers / technical authors. Like you said, just make sure your 5 articles are as good as you can get them and then hopefully you will be upgraded.

Keep refreshing the articles available screen, the odd 3 star article does pop up. There were some finance ones on earlier, might still be there now.

NB they love commas, keep comma-ing away.

I decided in the end that this just isn't for me. When I did select an available 3 level article, the instructions were pretty vague and me being such a perfectionist, I spent a couple of hours researching and writing it.

This was somewhat of a wake up call for me. I can earn far more(and have in the past) by writing content for my own websites.

I don't particularly like their system, but it's pretty irrelevant as it all boils down to this just not being a good fit for me. Wish you all the best of luck though :)

Hurray, £200 worth of direct orders just accepted this morning. Not a bad couple of days work. So glad I decided to give Textbroker a go, hope this client has more work for me soon.

That is unbelievable, well done :) Had you written for them before or did they like your profile?

They read my profile and sent me a sample order, loved it, and asked me to do their site :)

:heart:Thanks to all those lovely peeps who post comps!

I have a quick question. Do they rate the first five articles all at the same time? It is nearly two weeks since my first article was submitted and it has not been rated, and I will be hit by five limit before being locked out today or tomorrow.

With mine, they rated them all at the same time, about 10 days after the fifth one had been accepted by the client. Other people have waited a little longer I think, 2 weeks plus.
  • Have I done something wrong? I wrote my sample a couple of days ago and I've heard nothing. On the site I can edit my profile but I've got no rating?! Bit confused. I wasn't expecting 4 stars, maybe 3? But I'm still waiting to hear something, which seems odd as most people on here seem to have been rated in 24 hours :(
