  • I've had no rewrites - yet. No ratings either. Maybe it's a good thing cos I'm at 4 and there's only one way to go.... !
  • Murphy strikes - now I've completed my long gardening contract I thought I'll be able to sit down at textbroker and spend more time writing. First time ever since I joined that there has been absolutely no articles available :(

    I've just been approved and received a 4* job for about 4 euros :) It's a start
  • Just had my first rewrite come in! Bit surprised by the tone to be honest, I've been told the article is 'unreadable', 'not 4 star' and 'needs to be written in English' (had no idea I could write in any other language!).

Gosh that's rude. Poor you, I'm sure it's not as bad as that (or you wouldn't be 4 star in the first place).

I've just had revision request demanding that I use "Harvard referencing". Bizarre! I didn't use any source material as it was a short personal account (as requested in the brief). Wonder if this is the same client as was rude to Catriona P?

My personal tip for textbroker is use the instructions as a guide to the client. I saw a pile of fashion articles where they appeared to expect you to reference goodness knows how many websites for a stunning E4 fee. I've seen others where the instructions were competely vague. I leave them be and look for articles where the client is clear and realistic about what they want.

You're right Avon, some articles aren't worth the effort. Oh well, I've contacted textbroker with my query about their revision request.

Will plough on with some nice little car articles whilst I'm waiting.
  • I've had an abrupt answer regarding Harvard referencing too, you're not alone!
