Typical! Sunshine, blue sky's and snow. Got an amber warning here and it's snow on top of black ice, so glad I don't have to go out.

Met Office says "feels like" temp here is -11. Snow back on (the snow that we weren't to get today) and all plans to go up to the library are cancelled :)
And is this a good time to say that I HAVE NO WELLIES !!
    O the shame!

This is the first update I have had today..lots of comments on facebook about the amount of thunder and lightning last night. Stay warm and safe folks...22 in the sun here...15 in the shade and sunny and dry...but apparently the cold spell next week that will hit the UK will get us as well...all the way down to North Africa!

    UK Weather Forecast ·

Some heavy snow moving in to Lincoln/Lincolnshire at the moment.

Sheffield has seen some heavy snow for a time with thunder and lightning!

Showers will mainly affect the West and Central areas during today.

Tonight we see a front slide South Eastwards associated with a deep area of low pressure, winds will strengthen.

The precipitation will fall as snow initially across many areas in the North before turning to rain as there is a warmer sector in the low pressure.

Wednesday/Thursday is a day of sunshine and wintry showers affecting Eastern coastal counties of England with a few across the South West

DameJudee of the D/ench is one of my most favoured actors & I could watch her in almost everything she does (NOT costume dramas; even his holey-knees $teve ma'Queeeen, in the nuddy, { be still my beating heart rrrrafff } could make me sit thru those) & you remind me of Mrs Bay1e with your weather updates. She was the housekeeper in A$ Time goes Bye, who kept spouting the shipping forecast even tho the house was in deepest Hants

I ''spout '' the weather forecasts to warn others of what really is coming and not the carp the met office or bbc/sky tell you. I thought I was helping people on here and the thank you's show me they do help. I can stop posting them if you wish..... I put them up for all areas as people on here live all over the place....and I live in Greece so favour no particular area to post them for.

  • 2T keep it coming honey, you have been right more often and sooner than most other sources, and far enough in advance of the predicted event to allow us to be ready for it, I for one am really grateful and say thanks for being generous enough to share the info with us , keep giving us the heads up, we're better off for knowing, Thanks Lyn xxx.

All the Met Office forecasts said we would be dry and sunny spells here and the snow would hit the west. Maybe god thought "Ahahhh Mard hiz nae wellies" (cos god of course is Scots) - and he blew it further over. I need to get wellies lol

Manchester has ground to a halt and all we have is slush! Though deep slush, rescued DD and DGS and took them to group so little man didnt have to walk all the way, the slush would be up the top of his wellies. 2tonsils, I think Bigmumma was just joking, she is awfully nice but a terrible giggler. please keep on with the weather as my Ds was very grateful for the warning last night so he could prep for work :D

Got to the dentist faster than the dentist did :rotfl: so had a bit of a wait but all done now. I look like Leslie Ash after her lips were pumped up :D trout pout look!
