If you are organising a Scottish meet and give me ample notice I would love to join you (need notice to get cheap train ticket from London). Happy to crash out in hostel dorm, no need for hotel if I can get a cheap hostel. Unless I come with DH in which case Travelodge sounds good. Best time for me would be from mid-October, as I shall have recovered a bit from the expenses of my impending trip to Italy to see family.
Dragonette, I love crochet and have taught people to do basic stitches before, so we could set up a teach-in!Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

I just looked up and the first cheap ticket £17 each way from London is in November, but if I come for a couple of nights and find a decent price for a hostel I could spend a bit more on the train, would have to save very carefully but it could be done! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
