This is rather worrying. How long before we get it here?
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-12-01/greeks-told-declare-cash-under-mattress-jewelry-and-precious-stonesIt's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -

Having just started scanning the days newspapers:
The phrase in mind is "So - how does that work then?" as my first reaction to the fact Ca-maron seems to have persuaded a majority of MPs to back those airstrikes against Syria?
1. How come the first strikes were 57 minutes after the vote went through? Logically - that must mean those bombers were up there in the air nearby anyway and cynically counting down to "Must make it literally some minutes after the vote/keep a tiny bit of 'clear blue water' so it can be said that the bombing didn't start before the vote finished". But they also wanted it to be said "Bombing started within the hour".
2. How come the Labour Party MPs were given a free vote - when the Conservative Party MPs weren't? Either both parties MPs should have been ordered how to vote - or neither. I would argue all MPs should have been given a free vote - on such a matter of conscience as that.
3. I'd like to know exactly how many civilians they have killed in the last few hours then (that "collateral damage" as the polite phrase goes....).
4. What level of "collateral damage" is deemed to be acceptable.
5. What definition has been decided upon as to how to work out who has "won" come the end of all this (yeh...right:cool:).
I've not even had my first cup of coffee for the day yet - but a bit of (personal) daylight has just dawned and those are the questions I've thought up so far I would like answers to.0 -

If Whips had been imposed and no-one broke them, Cameron would have still won the vote as he has a majority.0 -

Whatever - it would all have been set up at the least.0 -
I wonder why, if bombs can be sent within the hour, how come aid flights (in some cases) take weeks to put together?:(
Thinking in general here, earhquakes, floods etc as well as refugees.
Not posted for a bit as have been dealing with my delinquent parents. As in - take your medication use your stick get down from that ladder stop doing the old bloke next doors shopping he is younger than you......and breathe!
But no. And then we get to have a ride in the vehicle with the nice young men and the flashing blue light
No, mother hadn't been arrested :rotfl:
Pacemaker checked out and all ok again.
Father is something else entirely.
Anything I say is disregarded as I am obviously only twelve :rotfl:
However, if the District Nurse repeats what I say verbatim, it is the equivalent of the Sermon on the Mount. She's fab!;)
Have read back but will take too long to thank folk. So consider yourselves thankedNot dim.....just living in soft focus

It's not easy being old either. Half your life you're told you can't do things cos you're not old enough - then suddenly you can't do them cos you're too old!! SOOO not fair!0

I know I don't have to deal with them DOVELING but the delinquent parents sound like a whole lot of fun!!! We're ageing delinquents too, put in quite a lot of practise to make sure we're on top of our game and the our DDs and the village have come to expect anything and everything from us, grown ups have no fun at all, we don't need a second childhood phase as neither one of us has ever left the first one!!! Greys rule OK?0

Poor Doveling, you are having a time of it  Sending you (((HUGS)))0

I'm fine thanks Ivyleaf
I thrive on looking after and enabling people. It satisfies my need to be needed IYSWIM, I miss working.
Trouble is,parents always see you as a little girl (at least mine do!) even when you are a highly qualified professional.
They are both stubborn, opinionated and always have to have the last word.:D
Mr.Doveling says they remind him of someone he knows. Wonder who it is?:rotfl:Not dim.....just living in soft focus
