Two days ago the demolition guys started work and removed all the roof tiles, felt etc. and today they started to take out the roof timbers.......well if you ask and they say no you're no worse off than if you hadn't asked at all, but they said YES and we've moved a whole roof across the road onto the front lawn, will definitely ache tonight, and He Who Knows is out there starting the de-nailing and chopping up. So much free wood, it's enough to see us easily through 3 months or so of woodburning next winter and the joy is that we have enough room for it in the woodstore now, oh how wonderful is that!!! So HAPPY!!!loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

Kittie I am so sorry to read your sad news, what a terrible shock.
My nephew died on Monday, aged 51, five years after the cancer diagnosis that accurately predicted its timespan, and just hours after being moved from home to hospice. Perhaps it's a luxury to have had time to accept it was coming... his young son will barely remember the time before the illness.
One of the good guys, and isn't it always the way.
Twiglet, sorry for your loss, my sympathies to you and yours (((Hugs)))Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
