The 72 LED lamp is all but out.
However, and I can hardly believe it, the Aldi lantern is still lit. :eek:0 -

I am not usre how long the battery pack lasts (the bit with the solar panel on it). nuatha may have an idea?
Apologies for the delay in replying, due to Openreach snapping cables while looking for a different fault I haven't been online as much as usual.
Ikea claim 500 charge cycles, I know of several Sunnan's that have exceeded this by a substantial margin. Its designed to make the batteries easy to change, three AA rechargeables drop in and refresh the battery pack. The LED has a design life of around 20,000 hours of use (Ikea translate this to 15 years). They also state that you need 9 hours charge for 3 hours use - I've switched a light off after 5 hours use (and I suspect less than 9 hours charging)Bedsit_Bob wrote: »... this has got to be the weirdest.
Was preparing cheese stuffed mushrooms, the other day.
Along comes Buggalugs, meowing.
So, I put down a small amount of the cheese, and she eats it.
Nothing odd about a cat eating cheese, you may say, and you would be right.
Except, this was fiery cheese.
As if that wasn't weird enough, as I was eating the cooked food, she wandered in again, meowing, so I put her down a small piece of my stuffed mushroom, and she ate the whole thing.
One of my previous feline companions used to eat dried chillies - at first I thought he was simply attacking the drying strings as cat toys, however he would snaffle dried chillies anytime he could.0 -
I have a cat who steals chips, beans, bread, peas. My husband found him one very cold night begging for food outside a chippie when he was a kitten. Was all bones and fleas, eating any old scraps.
We've had him a few years now, and Buddy is a v well fed tomcat now! He charms at least 2 of my neighbours who feed him ham and cat treats. Still eats chip shop stuff when he can get it.:j got married 3rd May 2013 :beer:0 -

We did have a Labrador who ate raspberries off the canes. He would take the ripe ones so gently that the hull was left intact on the cane.
Oh yes, and the corgi I had as a child who loved the smell of banana but hated the feel of it in his mouth. My mother would make him a banana sandwich which he would eat quite happily.Dor0 -

Reading back, I couldn't see anything from 1tonsil lately. Hope she's ok. The weather in Greece looks awful.
