Panicing about something that may or may not get here is wasted energy. The only thing that we can do is to be scrupulous with hygiene

:) A geezer called Robert who cannot settle on an abbreviation. Close cousin to Wobert with the lisp..............

I have arisen from my bath tub like a [STRIKE]hippo[/STRIKE] umm, like Aphrodite from the foamy waves and am now talking to you in pjs. Just thought you'd like to share that visual.

Asda are selling tins of Stagg Chilli, for £1 a tin.

It's usual about £1-80 per tin.

If you don't have an ASDA nearby, Morrisons are doing the same deal on both the classic chilli and the "dynamic hot chilli". We've stocked up on a few tins, mine has a best before date of July 2017, so might get quite a few more to put away.

v common cause is wiping back towards front, do the reverse and also tell female children as they get uti as well as adults

coffee is also a potent trigger
The other common cause of cystitis is sex - I guess that's why it's commoner in adults than children although children are (probably) worse at proper wiping.
I don't think ebola is a serious threat to the UK. The only parts of the population who regularly have skin on skin contact with large numbers of relative strangers would be children, people involved in contact sports, hairdressers maybe, nurses, people stuck on tube trains, actually I'm worrying myself more now. The good thing about this time of year is, most people cover up more as it gets colder.
More worrying for the coming winter, IMO, is the possibility of the Russians starting an energy war with Europe. That wouldn't be catastrophic if we have a mild winter like last one, but if we had a bad winter a lot of vulnerable people would be at risk,
