Was in Waterstones today browsing the craft section, when I came across this book. I thought of this thread immediately as it had sections on making bows and arrows, and coracles and all sorts of interesting things Don't know if it would be useful or not, I didn't have my glasses on so the words were a little fuzzy :rotfl:but it looked like it might be.

I'm doing great. I shouldn't be so shy hey. Must try and post more. I come across a recipe the other day making doughnuts in a cup. Microwave recipe. Looked pretty interesting. Hope this helps.

Thanks that looks really good and its the sort of thing DS3 can help with,I know someone made some in a tin in the oven but I'm damned if I can find it I'd better look in the morning when I'm more with it

I have to agree jackie. Is it news or is it opinion? All I can find is an opinion by a 'an independent scholar and private-sector consultant' a CNN interpreter. She talks about both sides hedging over the war issue. She talks about deals that could be made and issues on both sides that makes war the worst case scenario. Non of it news, all of it her opinion... and nothing about pressing the red button.

I like this thread and learn a lot from this thread but it's things like this that makes me not want to read it... not the fact that it's happening (I really like to know) it's the scare mongering that doesn't sit right with me. Scare mongering with a factual link would be better

There was a clip about 3 days back on CNN bout ships heading gulf direction, also 2 tonsils mentioned the same thing apparently prior to me on here. I read the on zero hedge hence my opinion
