    Just found these in ALDI.
    G1_-mini-2er-Set_HP1.jpg
    The Gigalite LED Keylight.

Length 53mm, diameter 10mm, weighing just 9g, including batteries.

The only down side (or it could be an upside, for people with poor memories) is that the light only stays on, while you have your finger on the button.

Use as (or clip on) your keyring, to always have it on hand, for locating locks in the dark, and for finding your alternative lighting, in the event of a power cut.

You could even pop a couple in your survival tin and/or BOB, but probably as well to keep the batteries out of the torches (or put a non-conductive disc over the rear end of the battery set) until needed.

Pack of two, for just £2-99.

My LR is a very pleasant 60f, with no heating on.

Sky is about 8/10ths heavy grey clouds, and I've just heard a few rumbles of thunder, but it's still bright, with no sign of rain or snow.

ETA: Just realised that, Bugallugs is coming up on 15 years old.
  • Afternoon everyone.

I've just popped on to tell you

I have been promised a bee hive, bees and tuition for £0 :j:j:j:j:j

Did you start on the sprouts early then? :rotfl:
  • Rain has arrived properly now, and the wind is picking up nicely.

I suspect Buggalugs will forego her nightly excursion outdoors.

paidinchickens - what great news! I'm all excited on your behalf too. :j

And an early Happy Birthday to Buggalugs too. :bdaycake: Sadly the smileys failed to offer me a can of tuna, or something more suited to her feline tastes... ;)

OH is doing reasonably well after yesterday's tumble, courtesy of a knee brace and a couple of paracetamol.

I've just cleared up from doing a lunch buffet with lots of fishy things for MIL and I, as we share a birthday today. I also snuck in a gluten free Christmas pud (cheesecake for the others) which was lovely - light, fruity and generally succulent - a real change for things without gluten. Nice work, Mr O. (And AOT, I agree with you on M&S's gluten free range - very nice indeed.)

Just catching up a bit online before we head out to dinner tonight with our besties. It's a treat, but one I've saved for, so I'm happy to do it. Looking forward not just to the dinner, but to sitting around the fire afterwards chatting. With any luck the lovely night manager will play the piano for us after everyone else has gone, and he'll sneak in the house cat for a fish supper, followed by me having a lap full of purring cat. Always a great end to a birthday, or even a great start to Christmas Day. :D
