Glad its worked out for you 2T, sounds lovely.
Daz just sent a search party out for supplies of diet coke as I have had a serious shortage this week  Will they replace the member of staff leaving? or tighten their belts ie make you all work longer hours?
Im just going to post a bottle of water to number 10, good god the deprivation they must have suffered makes your heart weep:mad: (in case of doubt that last statement was issued by sarcasmisanhabitnotanart.comI e-mailed my MP last saturday had a reply by Monday 10am and a nice letter by Tuesday. Mind you he is very good and was a personal friend of my Mums family many years ago, he is held in great esteem round here.
Off to empty the de-hydrator of the latest batch of excess courgettes, bag the redcurrants and golden raspberries for the freezer then make some nice scones - may be gone some timeClearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -
GK - doesn't it annoy you when you email your MP and they insist on sending a letter out? Not very green, or cost-conscious0

Hi all
The shiny yellow ball is showing itself again today which is very lovely, but i am a bit of a wooze in the heat, so keep escaping indoors.
Played around with some storage boxes yesterday and put our extra supplies in them, all neat and pretty (sad or what:D).
The only problem is there doesn't seem to be as much as when they were all thrown together in the cupboard, aah well it's an excuse to buy a few more tins.
Having a dilemma about what to wear to a family wedding in a few weeks, this girly dressed up lark is proving to be a bit frustrating, bought a very pretty dress, but feel a bit strange in it, (rather a lot of bosom showing) hubby doesn't mind:rotfl:but I feel decidedly un-me like (IYKWIM )so it may just stay in the wardrobe looking all shiny and new!. I keep thinking I will get used to having a large chest (I'm 45 now) but it still takes me by surprise sometimes.
Anyway back to prepping ... I'm off to don a sun hat and try and survive in the garden for more than 30 minutes as the courgettes are calling out.
Hugs WLL xMoving towards a life that is more relaxed and kinder to the environment (embracing my inner hippy:D) .:j0 -
WLL - try a [STRIKE]vest [/STRIKE]camisole under the dress if you're feeling a bit exposed :cool:0

I agree greenbee, I was happy to recieve e mail and thought I could enter into longer communication that way. Effectively the debate was ended by the letter but I will carry this on. Its regarding disability rights and this dam*ed government. Have just spent hours online researching and am about to become a bit of an activist. Yesterday I was offered a place in a newspaper article which I refused but am seriously rethinking it, I can put my point forward well after years in business meetings etc and have been published on other subjects in the past so you may well see my name bandied about in the press - if you visit establishments that use newspaper as loo roll :rotfl:
It is on subject as my SHTF preps are entirely due to the DWP's involvment in our life here.Clearing the junk to travel light
