    I know - but this isn't technically fruad - It is permitted and allowed -which is even more bizare IMO. I'm not judging OP - If the govt started a benefit tomorrow that all mothers of 2 or more children under the age of 5 can give up work for 2 years and be paid their current salary, I'd probably do it. Of course it isn't approriate and people would be outraged (as they are on here) but I'd defend my right as permitted.

    But it clearly is madness that someone in Op's circs is permitted to do this, but whilst permitted I don't blame her one bit really.
