    All patient addresses are confidential!

So what happens when you have to visit a patient in crisis? Are you going to ring the hubby to give you a lift, tell the patient they'll have to wait? Put yourself in the position of the patient - would you want someone turning up and having a panic attack?

I don't believe you have been completely honest with the university about how much care you claim to need. Either that or you have not been completely honest with the DWP.

And on that note I am stepping away from this thread. I just cannot believe someone would be so irresponsible.

If a patient is in crisis (and btw the preferred term is service user), then we have this in system in place. Its called dual working. And it applies to all support workers, not just me.

For health related courses they also have to be confident that the student can fulfil the role, which if the OP is being honest about her condition, she clearly cannot.

Have you actually got anything useful to contribute?

Universities offer a lot of help to people who suffer from anxiety and related issues, they operate an INCLUSION policy , you know which prevents discrimination, heard of that have you?

You won't get IS as a student as they would count the carers allowance and grants as income.
Is with a carers premium is £141 a week.

    There's a £10 per week disregard.

Thank you. So by the time that is disregarded relative income will be £144 per week. I can calculate IS and HB based on this.

Yes they would, but as previously stated with disability premium and carers premium it would be more than my bursary award, so there is eligibility there.

    Disability premium £30.35
    SDP £58.20

TOTAL IS AWARD £200 a week
    Bursary minus £10 disregard £144 a week
Total IS in payment £56 a week

There is no disregard on the bursary
    your I.S
    would be 111.45 PA
    43.25 DP
    32.60 CP
    187.30 applicable amount

    less CA 58.45
    126.85
    IS payable.
    less your bursary
Your bursary may nil or looks like it will nil it
why are you saying SDP :(
Does you husband have DLA as well

I have no idea Mikey I'm losing the plot today LOL probably because I have spend all day on the phone to DWP for other people! The four seasons is particularly hurting my ears at the minute.

So you can get CA and CP? Thats fine. Even if I dont get any IS, I'm not complaining! Would still gain the CA anyway. Not sure why it is all disregarded for tax credits and not IS? Odd doesnt even begin to describe it. I rang up Tax credits and checked regarding disregards. I knew loans and grants would be disregarded but thought they would take bursary into consideration.

Do you know what the score would be with HB?
