I agree with you I was saying what the family had been told by BCC, they have also been told that they won't be getting his collar back which is surely still their property. I firmly believe like you that he was killed before the date stated and that they disposed of his body and his collar, his collar was probably chucked in the nearest bin and god knows what they did with lennox. Anyone know how animals bodies have to be disposed of, do they have to be cremated or buried ?.

I *think* that in cases like these all the animals are cremated at once.

You keep repeating that. I think you are simply 'glossing'.

I may be misinformed though, so could you list the experts involved please, so I can understand your 'majority' comment?

No glossing - I read the court documents. The majority of the experts, both court and applicant (family) appointed assessed the dog to be dangerous and unpredictable. The documents have been pasted into this thread if you wish to read them yourself.

The local authority where Lennox was held, would have actually cremated his body, they weren't at liberty to release his body (even though they could have used their discretion) due to health and safety risks.
Also, there are a lot of questions regarding WHY the family weren't allowed to see him, well UK law is very clear.
Once seized, your dog will be kept by police until a decision is reached on whether it needs to be destroyed or released. This could take several weeks or months. You won’t be allowed to visit your dog.

As for Lennox collar, I actually believe that is a myth, it's being said elsewhere it will be released in due course to the family.

I find that difficult to understand given that all other people involved managed to interact easily with the dog. Including the dog warden.

Actually it's very easy to digest, this short clip was released last night. Lennox was unpredictable, FACT.

  • Listening to the radio show that's been posted, it's interesting that Victoria Stilwell's so-called offer to save the dog, was never legally an option. The council were not able to accept it the offer and she accepts that. Seems like she's just on a publicity drive for herself to me.

The dog was clearly scared to death, as most would be when approached in such an intimidating way.The clip is also very short:(:(

Erm, the assessor reached over to grab his lead. Which was met with a lunge, then a snap! Imagine that being a small child!
The family admit in several documents 'Lennox didn't deal well with strangers'...........;)

The dog was already anxious by then. I also wonder what the assessor did to the dog's neck when he moved to the side of him and touched him , up until then the dog was wagging and happy. The dog was said to have had a neck issue, I wonder if he caused him pain?

I really dislike these 'snippets', I don't believe they show a true or complete picture. I wish we could see and hear everything, including accurate timelines.

The dog was also 'drugged up to the eyeballs' on medication to calm him down, would be interesting to see his behaviour when he wasn't! Which is probably why Madeleine Forsyth couldn't even get close to him, as that more than likely were prior to any medications being prescribed.

This snippet comes shortly after the original 3 minute assessment that is readily available online, if the family had NOTHING to hide, why didn't they release that bit?;)
