    Morning Folks,

I hope everybody is well today.

Here is my food costs for today

    Milk - 10p
    Banana - 14p

    Snacks and Lunch

Jelly - 33p (This will be lower when I start making my own)
    Lettuce - 10p
    Cucumber - 10p
    Tomatoes - 17p
    Ham - 36p
    Yoghurt - 25p
    Apple - 22p
    Blueberries - 40p

A busy day in work today and then hoepfully I will get another run in tonight. I am hoping to pay another £40 off my credit card today, to conclude my payments for the month of July. This is because I made about £80 doing my sports trading this month, so half of the profits, as discussed, goes towards my debts.

So how did I get on with my goals last week, and were do I need to improve.

    Week 23rd - 29th July

    Physical
    1) Running - I did 6/7 20 minutes runs
    2) Treats - I had no treats during the week days.
    3) Alcohol - I had around 30 units of alcohol (My target is 20 units of less, so I need to cut this down lots)
    4)Weight -I lost 2lbs for the week

    Work
    1) Weekly Report - I did not manage to complete a weekly report (must try harder)
    2) Weekly Plan - Complete
    3) Daily plans - Complete
    4) Reading -I completed 2/5 30 minute reading sessions (not good)
    5) Lab-Book - Lab book was complete for the week

    Mental
    1) Sudoku - Did 1/5 sudoku puzzles last week!!!
    2) Crossword - Did 3/5 quick crosswords
    3)Maths Puzzles - None

    Home
    1) Gardening - None

    Debt
    1) Extra £100 off debts per month - For July paid £90
    2) Food £25 per month - This is starting for August
    3) Half profits from sports trading going to debts (July) - Complete (£40)
4)NSD Challenges (Not Started until August)
    5) Grocery challenges (Just started August challenge)
    6) £20 Spending money per week (Just Started for August)

So a mixed bag, really surprised by the units of alcohol, I certaintly need to cut that back this week. I also must try harder on some of other items. But a decent start; I suppose I can't be perfect straight away.

    Evening all,

Well I did not manage a run tonight, as I could not resist watching a bit of the olympics. I will get out tommorow morning.

I did not make my lentil stew tonight either. Instead I made a corned beef and onion pie. I even made my own pastry. For a first attempt it was very nice; it also had carrots and potatoes in it. It was yummy.
I did not have to buy any ingredients, so I managed a NSD day today as well, to round off the month.

Hey MF - really well done with all your meal planning. I too have decided to try and use cash rather than the card as its far easier to keep track of and you actually see yourself spending the money!

You have also done really well with your other goals.

Congrats on the 2 lb weight loss as well.

    Hi Folks,

The tuna pasta bake was nice tonight, but I managed to get 3 portions out of it instead of 2. So that means it was only 52.6p per portion. So happy with that.

I also managed a NSD today so that starts my month off well.

    Good Morning Everyone,

Well I managed another run this morning; however, I was feeling tired. I might have a day off tomorrow and then complete a run on Saturday and Sunday.

As mentioned I have £20 spending money per week; this lasts from Saturday to Friday. I have £6.30 left. I tend to only really spend during the weekend, so I think I can manage another two days.

Well the Spicy carrot and tomato soup for tea was very nice; the gf loved it too. I have frozen a further two portions and have kept a portion in the fridge for lunch tomorrow.

I also managed another NSD today; so that is 2 for August.

A good day in the olympics, with several medal wins; we are now 5th in the table.:j

I am looking forward to the atheltics starting and I hope Rebecca Ardlington can come good tomorrow in the swimming.

    Go Team GB.:j:j:j
