Interesting. Got a link for this? I don't live in London so it's no use to me, but I'd like to read about it anyway.

    Sure - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OnePulse

Then what is the point? You want to have ZERO risk? Then don't have any credit/debit cards. Don't have any bank accounts. Don't cross the the road. Don't drive. The fact is that IF you did suffer from fraud on your FD debit card, then i know from experience FD will reimburse you there and then...unlike other banks who often take weeks to look into such matters.

I don't want the hassle of calling the bank and waiting in a queue to get my stolen cash refunded each time. I want to be able to use chip and pin so I am in control. I will not adopt contactless cards and will either drill the NFC chip out or change banks to avoid it. It's my choice.
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

You'd rather just lose the physical cash instead.

I know which I would prefer.

Up to you I guess. It's your money. No wait - once you put money into a bank account, it isn't yours anymore - it's the banks. The bank only has a liability to you for the same amount as you deposit so it isn't really your money. You're just a creditor to the bank like any other investor.

What a barrel of laughs I bet you are on a night out.

Grow up, technology is leaving you behind.

I enjoy my nights out, thanks for enquiring though :)

I'm 37, love my technology however am not happy with NFC technology being used with my bank cards. Just because new technology has come out it doesn't mean by default that you have to like it.
